I don't care that you don't care what people think.

I don't care that you're impressed with one of their players.

I don't care that they have 1,789 fans.

Only 1789 there today.

Most of them don't go home games, but they take a nice following away. They are 6th in the away following rankings in League One. That's decent imo, especially considering you've got Wolves, Sheffield United and Bradford all above them who have always had decent support.

I worked in cov a number of years after our admin.

Most of the inbreds said we should be playing park football.

But one said he did not like living with us but did not want to live without us.

Rivalry is great when your playing them and winning but no fun once they have gone.

He changed my attitude towards our rivals.

Yes see em in the shit on the pitch n beat em.

But gone forever where is the fun and do we want cov scum coming to support us in years to come cos they have gone.

NOT ME

Lets have a laff and hope the ventilator is not switched off.

I agree with that, i really feel sorry for them right now. Left with a horrible choice, pay to go to northampton and watch that shower mismanage them further. Or abandon them and hope that when they've finally given up their is something worth rescuing.

I'd rather them be around to hate, good luck scum.

I don't feel sorry for them at all. Fair enough the fans have had a raw deal with some right dodgy owners in SISU but you don't give up on your club. 1700 attendance at a home game (albeit a little farther than they'd normally travel) is inexcusable. Not going to help turn your clubs fortunes around like that....

Wouldn't say I care or don't care tbh, just simply stating fact he cared enough to open the thread and post in the thread, I don't believe I actually stated whether I cared or not, that goes for anyone else who you seem to be speaking for.

Wow, you really aren't reading (Or shall we say, understanding) post's very well recently are you.

Coventry lose again.

Thought this would happen, they were going pretty well while the were on minus points, now they are out they have lost 2 on the trot, ok it may be coincidence they bounce back and go on an unbeaten run, but how many teams have you seen who have started on minus points have a storming start then one they get onto positive points don't go aswell as they were.

Long may it continue.

The sight of Cov in League 2 would make me laugh uncontrollably. I'd most likely piss myself.

Could, if that happens, be playing Nuneaton next season.

Sky Bet League 1: Coventry's bid to return to Ricoh Arena thwarted over court row

Coventry's hopes of returning to the Ricoh Arena have been dashed after owners Sisu lost a court battle with Coventry City Council.

The findings of a judicial review took place on Monday morning and it saw the council successfully defend itself against claims its 14.4million loan to Arena Coventry Limited (ACL), the owners of the Sky Blues' former home the Ricoh Arena, was an 'unlawful subsidy'.

A statement released on the club's website after the hearing described the ruling as"unfortunate" and explained how they believe building a new stadium is now the "only viable commercial option" with any prospect of a move back to their home of eight years seemingly in tatters.

"Coventry City Football Club and its owners' primary objective remains building a long-term future," it read. "The judgement by Hickinbottom J, that the Council's (CCC) decision to provide a £14.4 million loan to private stadium management company Arena Coventry Limited (ACL) was not an unlawful subsidy, is unfortunate.

"The football club and its owners believe that the loan, which exceeded the value of the stadium by almost 200%, was neither lawful nor in the interests of the supporters, taxpayers, stadium operators or the Club.

"ACL will now remain burdened with debt for the next 43 years, removing any prospect of a long term return to the stadium by the Club. With this level of debt there is no realistic prospect of any sports franchise or ACL being able to generate sufficient revenue to be commercially viable.

"We will apply for leave to appeal this decision. Now, more than ever, the new stadium is the only viable commercial option. The owner's primary objective remains building a long term sound financial platform for the future growth of the Club."

A row with ACL over rent meant the League One side played their home games over 35 miles away at Northampton's Sixfields last season in front of meagre crowds.

It's a shame, it really is.

Going to lead to a generation of glory hunting wankers growing up in Coventry instead of supporting their local team.

They need to return to Coventry as soon as possible, the club has no future at the moment.

I doubt our clubs have ever been further apart both on and off the pitch.

Yeah true. Coventry is such a big City as well and quite a "traditional" club.

Fantastic isn't it?

Perhaps a cameo season in League 2 with a return to Cov and then scraping promotion in the playoffs.
