What has happened to Moore this season. Absolute beast. Lovely bullet header too. Though the marking was a little questionable!

Anybody know when Nugent last scored with his feet from open play? Played well enough today but genuinely can't remember...

If we keep playing like this Nugent will get a lot of goals, we really were fantastic both at the back and coming forward.

You can take this either way, you could argue Wood wants his chance and is fighting for it/wants to prove it or you could argue Wood should pipe down and let Nugent get on with arguably 'his' penalty taking duties (As Nuge does seem to be our penalty taker nowadays).

Either way I don't like the way Wood was arguing with Nugent about the peno.

You could see Wood sulking off after he lost the arguement aswell. I don't like to see that.

You could argue it's Pearson's place to breach the subject with the two players, sit Wood down and tell him Nugent is the penalty taker and it is as simply as that.

It has happened a couple of times now, Wood wanting to take the Peno's but Nugent does.

Nugent was very poor and his penalty shouldn't mask that fact. It wasn't just his shooting. Yes he missed a couple of good chances but he also just seemed so cumbersome and lacking in sharpness. Hopefully he'll get back on-song soon because he's been a bit poor recently.

Very poor. No he wasn't. Average maybe, but saying he was very poor suggests he didn't contribute at all when he clearly did. A few good runs, playing people in a number of times, he really wasn't that bad.

Concerned about penalties though, twice there's been an argument over them and that needs to be dealt with.

We saw the game out with 433 though

Flexibility will be a key part of success over 46 games... Like the job we did on Watford in 1st leg of playoffs with a 4411

Formations aren't everything though, I'd just like to see us play on the front foot.... & where possible - quick passing, if we do that we have the quality to win enough matches to be right up there

We got the penalty within seconds of switching to 433. I thought it was a suicidal move but luckily the penalty killed the game. Even then you could see we missed the wide outlet after we had switched. A couple of times we had to find konchesky on the wing which left us short at the back. If you've got three up front but are having to find your full back in an attacking move, it's not working.

From what I've seen over the last two seasons we're often very good playing 442, while I've yet to see anything like a convincing performance from 433 or 352. If these formations worked then I could see the logic in being flexible, but I'm not at all convinced that they do and I think we'd be better off playing what is clearly our best formation whatever the weather.

The ball to Vardy that won the penalty was superb.

Shows how fast he is, the defender had a good few yards on him.

Funny that if im not mistaken that's the first time this year we started 442 with dyer and knock.

perhaps Np should stick to the stand to get a better overview of the game by all accounts the subs worked

Potential to be a future international for England hopefully he does that at Leicester...

Definitely looks like has all the attributes of a top defender hope he does really well for Leicester and stays with us for a long time.I hope he gets a U21 England call-up soon he deserves it one of my fav defenders after Morgan.

Why was Kasper wearing our away kit for?

Possibly because the home gk jersey is the same colour as wigans away kit.

Delighted!

I thought we'd win today but to do so in that style was great. Good to get another clean sheet and really pleased Moore scored, he's been fantastic this season

good solid win, was the opposite of what I was expecting, a close game with lots of goals. wigan made some nice passes but there was little on the end of it. great to see us score and not concede from a corner!!!!

I've never known a goalkeeper wear the teams away strip.

What did people think on the possible penalty for Wigan in the first half? Moore on Fortune.

Sat in SK1 and thought we got away with it a bit. Seemed to push him over, not stonewall but any means but my first reaction was that it should've been given.

I watched on TV and I must say I'm surprised a PK wasn't given.

Awkward moment when the complete chicken nugget sat behind you starts shouting at Pearson to stop hiding on the bench and get off his arse and sort the team out. He never caught on even after 90 minutes. Bellend
