Guest ttfn Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Beausejour really should have gone during the penalty incident as well. Vardy had simple ball across the 6 yard box for somebody to tap in and Beausejour just barged him over. Obvious yellow card to go with the one he got earlier. How Coyle can sit there and moan about the ref is beyond me. The likes of Powell and McManaman should be starting for them, and they both (Powell in particular) made a big difference when they came on.
Number 6 Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Very happy. Thought Drinkers upped his game today. Did a lot of good work and the outside of the boot ball for Vardy in the first half was class. Liam Moore was absolutely outstanding again today. Him am Wes at the back (despite Wes having an off day) is a solid foundation.
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Paul Konchesky was outstanding today, just shows that although he was on the verge of leaving he's got a lot more to give us. Moore was the bollocks too. Nugent was the pits

He must have taken a dive at least 3 times in the limited time he was on, one of which was criminal. Wonder where he learnt that kind of trick
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Owen Coyle Vardy's was the most blatant pen i have seen in a long while
Danno Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Sour grapes from Coyle his team were well beaten.Owen coyle hahaha id rather have Owen off coronation street!!!
Leicesterpool Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 On Tuesday the only change i'd make is start with Schlupp instead of Dyer, Schlupp is a better winger than left back.
GingerrrFox Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 On Tuesday the only change i'd make is start with Schlupp instead of Dyer, Schlupp is a better winger than left back. Agree with this didn't think Dyer had a great game today. Schlupp didn't deserve to be dropped for Konchesky either (although he had a good game), think this would be fair.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Coyle is the reason Wigan Athletic won't get promoted from this league. The man has dined out on the success of Johan Elmander's purple patch for Bolton for some time now. All in all, I love beating teams that come down from the PL, far too many think they'll dick this league at a canter.
Dan Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Delighted with that one. Very comfortable win against one of the leagues better sides. Another 3 on Tuesday please.
marbelladave Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Well, well, well. The XI that started today was exactly the same XI, playing exactly the same formation that took us to the top of the table last autumn. Strange eh........? (To be precise, Moore started about half the games in our winning run last season but, injuries and Dyer and Marshall taking turns apart , that was the first choice side for our best spell last season)
Swarles Barkley Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 If anyone has not seen nugents penalty here it is http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=c4-feed-u&v=34PXO2wrMno
Albert Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 What a difference a yr makes for Liam Moore. This time last yr he got bullied to death by Ebanks Blank. Today he bullied there centre forward like a school boy!! Great performance from the lads today. Dare I say it but I think we've still got more to come
lgfualol Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 Paul Konchesky was outstanding today, just shows that although he was on the verge of leaving he's got a lot more to give us. Moore was the bollocks too. Nugent was the pits Agreed. He was marvelous.
NathanC93 Posted 14 September 2013 Posted 14 September 2013 DELIGHTED with everything today, came away very, very happy!
AnotherShitSeason Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Even I was almost satisfied today.
Jakemoore Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Vards looks like a new signing!! Needs to sort his hair out though, shocking. So happy for Liam Moore! Well taken goal but shocking defending! Interesting pen, it definitely was a foul but Carsons tactics were very odd! Cool finish by Nuge. All in all, solid win, the future looks bright, the future looks blue!
nlukka Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Really impressed with how well we played today - we looked dangerous going forward and solid at the back. Surprised at how poor Wigan were, especially given the substitutions they were able to make.
Matt Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 How much of a bellend was the ref? I was waiting to see how many would say it and I don't think up until you anyone has even mention the ref in a bad way for us. Yes he was, he was poor. But until you no-one (as far as I have seen) has mentioned him in a bad way in our view, now should we have drew or lost I bet we'd be talking alot more about him in the bad way, I bet he'd have been mention way before now, that is the simple problem I have about this matter. Anyway, I do agree with you.
Dan Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 How much of a bellend was the ref? Very much of one, as usual. The appalling standard ought to be highlighted yet again, but not if you're a manager, of course. That said, Coyle comes across as nothing other than an embarrassing loser. Any manager who puts his sole blame for defeats on the ref is a complete loser.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Good performance on the whole against one of my favourites for the auto's. Not based on this performance though. They were awful! Would've been nice to have put 4/5 past them as it feasibly could've been just to send out a message to the others
Guest shearfox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 How much of a bellend was the ref? Usual championship standard, thankfully we played so well it didn't matter...
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Scott Carsons method of keeping against penalties was a bit bizarre.
