Lazio Torino have been linked and anyother club can agree the same fee and talk to him. We are just a step closer thats all. He could also be crap as far as we know yet people on here talking about him like he is Ryan Giggs ffs.

MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Don't understand why people are getting so excited. Just because he came out of Ligue 2 doesn't make him Knockaert mark II. It just puts pressure on the lad if he does sign to put in an amazing performance and at this rate in worried that if he doesn't he'll get criticised for not being good enough. It would probably be better for everyone to wait and see how he plays if he signs. If there's something that Mahrez can learn (should he sign for us for sure), it's that we have another young French winger on our books who could teach him a thing or two about this league and the competitiveness in English football in general. And if anything fails, he can always set up a meeting at Charlton and ask Yann Kermorgant for advice.
