brisfox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Should we give Nigel an ovation at the Doncaster game , similar to what we did for the owners?
davieG Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 In which minute though? All ninety. Shakespeare can have the added time.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 In which minute though? How about all 90? On a serious note I do feel it is a pretty poor effort by us fans that NPs achievements this season to date aren't recognised more on a match by match basis. We acknowledged Chris Powell on Saturday, who yes is a top bloke and we have fondnes from his time with us, however, the man who is leading us to the top flight is hardly recognised on a match by match basis. This I feel is incredulous and needs putting right. Let feel the love I implore. Edit, you beat me to it davieG
Jakemoore Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 I think we should all sing his name and applaud on the minute that was the date he became our manager for the second spell! It was in October I believe!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Think we should clap for Kermo getting a hatrick at the 3rd minute
AKCJ Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 How about we give him a standing ovation when he lifts the trophy?
brisfox Posted 4 March 2014 Author Posted 4 March 2014 How about doing it on the 12th minute in recognition that he is the 12th man in our team, unless somebody has a better idea
cc_star Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 How about we give him a standing ovation when he lifts the trophy? How about we show other prospective managers around forcing Pearson out, and we get Pablo Sousa in
ealingfox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Let's also lock all the boo-boys from last spring in stocks at the side of the pitch and have Nige and L & K blocks pelt them with eggs and tomatoes at half-time.
kingcarr21 Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Im sure at every game at some point the fans shout 'Theres only one Nigel Pearson' Surely he would be more bothered about us just supporting the team for the whole game than doing some stupid ovation in a random minute then sitting quietly. All this talk about clapping in a certain minute is stupid. Fans are going to be too bothered looking at the clock rather than watching and supporting the team. Im sure Pearson would be happier seeing the fans getting behind the players during the whole game even when things arent going our way than an ovation.
Corky Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 If we've won the league we should be singing his name most of the match, along with singing the players names. Be spontaneous, don't do forced minutes applauses.
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 *Waiting for cityfanlee to make his appearance* Coming back to the topic, a standing ovation on the day we potentially secure promotion is a given. Followed by wild hugging, kissing, ******* and an almost overabundant supply of champagne, beer and hard drugs.
Mark_w Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Or we could just chant 'One Nigel Pearson' properly during every game.
Corky Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Or we could just chant 'One Nigel Pearson' properly during every game. Not sure about that. Do Palace or Leeds sing it?
Raj Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Fook it...he's doing his job and getting plenty pf ££â‚¬â‚¬$$$ He Dont give 2fooks about us singing his name!!!
ElusiveEd Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Lets all wear white trainers to a game and at a certain minute hold them up with a chant....... There's only two white trainers, Two white trainers, There's only two white trainers Nigel Pearsons two white trainers Nigel Pearsons two white trainers.
Harry - LCFC Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Drunkenly shouting is the proper way to show gratification. People really ought to know this by now. None of this polite spectator crap thank you very much.
Babylon Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Jesus ****ing Christ. I hate football fans. Can we do it in the 13th minute just for Finners?
