davieG Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 What the fu ck I don't understand why they're encouraging people to "move fast and head down to the City Fanstore today" when the queue is already that long. They should be encouraging existing ST holders who want the same deal as last year to stay away for a couple of days. Marmite Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Seriously why would you queue for 12 hours to renew your Season Ticket?? That is ridiculous
ScouseFox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 queued online for a bit (i didn't really even want to, just wanted to look on the lcfc direct website but it put me straight in a queue) been in that for about an hour and "service unavailable". terrific.
hackneyfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Surely that qx thing isnt the queue number, mines gone from 274 too 1041? It is but it makes no difference it will still crash when you get in.
4ever and ever Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Absolutely ridiculous, get through to select seats part and then......... back of the queue number 1466!!!
Harry - LCFC Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 What the fu ck Do people enjoy wasting their life?! I've got no problem with queueing if it's necessary but that's just plain weird!

They should be encouraging existing ST holders who want the same deal as last year to stay away for a couple of days. too right. they should say if you want to be a new sth then you need to be as quick as possible, although there are 3 ways of getting tickets so don't necessarily all drive to the ground. and if you are just wanting to renew then forget all about season tickets for a month, go on holiday or something, have a party next bank holiday weekend and then buy your st because your seat will still be saved.
C-man Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I wish I had written down the exact order of the problems I have had because this service is beyond a joke.
yorkie1999 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 this will sell out today. If the queue goes all the way round, that's got to be 4 or 5 thousand and surely you're not going to queue for a renewal.
davieG Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Just got an email from them urging me to buy/renew my ST through the following options
ScouseFox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 this will sell out today. If the queue goes all the way round, that's got to be 4 or 5 thousand and surely you're not going to queue for a renewal. scroll up a bit to read all about the couple who queued from 9pm last night to renew. there are undoubtedly people out there queuing all day to renew despite having a month to do so.
C-man Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Lots of people's websites must have crashed because I've just jumped from 800 odd to 194. Shambles
martyn Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 No point worrying about where you are in the queue, you won't be able to select a seat when you get in....
crazylegs1984 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 website just sped through went from 193 to 12 im now in the site selected seats and now its just stuck on the loading screen !!!
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 The term early bird doesn't work, what they should do is give existing season ticket holders a month to renew/ relocate then put them on general sale.

Yep, maybe give a week grace for relocations. Then renewals and then public sale at early bird price until a planned date.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Clearly the new lcfc direct is a cosmetic reskin of the previous site, the inadequate application/server infrastructure is still there unchanged. Good job these amateur clowns are not responsible for genuinely high traffic websites, clearly staffed the development and server teams will real dregs
Bayfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Not sure about the people renewing who clearly have nothing better to do. But the club has caused this problem themselves with the we will only sell 7k new season tickets. Are you really telling us, if when i come down on Friday afternoon to renew 4 season tickets and try to buy 1 new one, you aren't gonna let me have the new one if it's number 7001? With the fact the ticket office has been a shambles for years and they often sell the same seat more than once and have been know to sell season ticket holders seats before a deadline, who is counting these 7000 new ones.
suffolk fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 What doesn't help is even if you go to the ground and queue for one you will find there are only about four people serving in the shop. You would have thought they would have put more on for this?
