Kasper signs new deal - 4 years

Who is @LCFC_1884 that little dweeb steals everyone's stories and acts as if he is ITK.

Check his twitter now, must be someone on here. He's just took a quote off here from like 2 months ago by MattP about Hillsborough - no idea why?

I think that crappy twitter account is run by the person with the badge and a poppy as their avatar on here.

It's not really bitterness or me having a go as such. He seems a decent enough bloke and once upon a time the info he gave appeared to be pretty accurate and he may well have known someone who knew someone.

It's been pretty clear for a couple of years that things have changed, however.

The only issue I do have is the way he lets the twitterati and stringer etc big him up as an itk when, well, he isn't any more.

I'd hope that he's been around the internet long enough to handle what is essentially a written dig in the ribs. I just get this vague feeling sometimes that he enjoys being seen as a bit special by some a little too much.

I may be wrong.

Sure. You don't sound bitter at all.  :schmike:

He posts on here can't remember his username though.

You saw his twitter bio? Making out like he's connected to the club, he gets all his information off here. Some people really need to get a life.

okay. that's one of those self-powered arguments that can't actually be reasoned with isn't it?

what am i bitter about though, that's what i can't work out?

The thing is supporters of a certain age are scared because of the situation we got into before but now is a new time and to buy somebody of kaspers talent we would have to go out there and spend millions so its a good deal in the current climate

He's showing off basically. That tweet is an attempt to show how wonderfully respectful he is to try and earn a bit of kudos amongst his followers.

the only way to settle this, and it's too difficult to bother, is read berts old info and see which were correct.

if you present evidence to back up your claim, you win!

About what?

The figures you posted. He's worth what he's worth. Just because they have lots of money doesn't mean they would be willing to pay him stupid wages like that when they don't need to.

Or not get your knickers in a twist over someone you know over an internet board only.

Used to get tonnes of great info, and believe what you want I still do, anyone remember the Hammond signing? The fact is it's a lot harder to get with Pearson in charge, much more of a tight ship under him this time around.

Can handle sly digs, as long as people don't get too personal it's all water off a ducks back to me.

Personally I don't think these threads going off the rails talking about it all is worth it to be honest.

Kasper worth £40k per week, of course he is.

Three year contract, £40k per week, cost after two years = £4m, sell him for £6m aged 29, at his peak, profit £2m, and we have already got his replacement one year younger who may even be better than Kasper. Excellent business, well done Leicester. We seem to be in excellent hands. Very clever.

Great news if true. But won't be wholly satisfied until it is confirmed by the club or at the very least a more reliable source like Sky Sports.

Certainly didn't

For saying Schmeichel is a top drawer goalkeeper, 40k a week is pittance. Do you think Joe Hart is on the same? No he will be on double that easily and yes I am insinuating that he is as good as England's number one. Schmeichel is worth more then that in my opinion and could probably have got a lot more elsewhere, if this is true it just shows what a loyal servant of Leicester Kasper is.

Loyal servant? What garbage. How long has he been here?

Definitely agreed deal verbally, so shouldn't be a problem, just a question of getting the paperwork sorted :D

Already seen it on SSN.

Brilliant piece of work by the club, a massive boost, other potential signings will now look and see that as a positive, we've been able to keep hold of one of the hottest goalkeeping properties in England and I for one am buzzing about this, it's difficult to replace a keeper, and I know we're closing on Hamer, but Kasper has that relationship and chemistry with the club, his 2 centre halves and the full backs, he knows the club, the team and has all the attributes to become a club legend (before anyone starts the key word here is 'BECOME' I'm not one to throw legend out there easily, it's too easily used, I saw on Twitter this year someone call Mahrez a Leicester legend after his first 2 games :o  :o  :o :o  :o  :o  :o  :o ....but if he stays for the next 3 seasons and potentially a few more I don't see why he couldn't write his name in the history books. Lets also not forget, no matter what the result is, Kasper always comes to applaud the supporters, I remember watching us 2 seasons ago at Reading, and we were Lloyd that day extremely Lloyd, but Kasper came over from other end of pitch to :chant: the fans and that is something which endears a player to me. All in all a cracking piece of business, looking forward to some more good news in the coming weeks. :schmike:

I also remember the Jong Tae Se, Maynard, and Shane Long signing... Oh, wait.

I'm not making it personal, but the more info you get that is wrong, the more people lose trust in your sources.
