bovril Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 Be alright if the two players we are getting in are Robben and Messi I get the feeling some on here would still prefer Dyer and Fryatt.
sylofox Posted 24 June 2014 Posted 24 June 2014 unbelievable people get wound up and will argue with a internet icon Who is wound up? Who is arguing? I just agreed with Mrs J's comment.
RizLCFC Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Signing a new contract later today coz ITK You got that from this tweet, don't even deny it! @RobTannerMerc: More good news for LCFC fans in tomorrow's Mercury regarding Nugent.
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Excellent news, can't fault his return for us over the last few seasons.
wakeyfox01 Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Great news. Think he'll be able to have a better crack at the prem than he could last time he was there. We're now guaranteed at least one goal when we play Burnley now as well.
MPH Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 The good news could be that he's off to Burnley..... Only Joking, Nuge! Sign that contract, man!
Babylon Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Phew... usually you are epically wrong about pretty much everything, so it's pretty much a given that he'll score a few.
Poakey Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 After watching last seasons DVD review it reminded me of just how important he was last season with all his goals and assists. Would make my week this, if true.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Good news! Whether he's our starting striker or not this season, the squad would be weaker without him! The guy has plenty to prove in the Prem and I reckon he'll rise to it personally this time
LCFC31 Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Brilliant news if true! Nugent has been a vital player this season and will be just as important next season.
Marky mark Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 All you have to do his look at his link up play with vards last season This can only be good news
tylesta Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 little brian please don't do anything stupid call 08457 909090 these will help
Ric Flair Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 The best decision for both parties. Would have been silly to have lost him over the length of a contract. He's only 29, it's not as if this is his last contract. It's possibly the last chance he'll have to play in the PL though. I don't see Nugent being much less effective in the PL to last season, he's not going to be hugely prolific from open play but I can see him pinching us some goals in tight games. He has won us a lot of points in his time here.
Stevosevic Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 He got 6 in the Premier League last time he was with Burnley, confident he can get 10 which is the sort of return we should be looking at from our strikers.
