Corky Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 We've actually looked decent going forward IMO. We look more clued up when attacking and although they're making mistakes, at least they're trying things which isn't typical of us. No surprise it comes with Barkley's introduction. The defending however. Well, I don't even need to go into detail. Terrible. Yes, certainly couldn't be accused of bring negative or conservative, we're playing at a good tempo.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Quite enjoyed that half. Look good going forward, can't defend for shit, I know it's mainly the reserves though so I'm not going to worry. PS Milner's not a right back. It is our reserves, but against Peru that is our first choice and we didn't do well there, now I hope that it was just lack of match practice and at the World Cup we are rock solid. Plus they may have been just taking it a little easy with the opposition and the fact it was the last game before flying out... I'm just worried at the moment.None the less I'm sure England will be actually a decent watch for once at a World Cup I see goals that is for sure
lgfualol Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 CUS IT'S A BITTERSWEET SYMPHONNYYYYYYYYYYYY THIS LIIIIIIIIFE
Tielemans63 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Frustrating this, loads of good build up play but inevitably fooked up by a careless final ball.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Is it me or are we actually exciting to watch! great goal what a run by Barkley, the next gazza!
Fox92 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Great finish but Barkley made that. At least Barkley drives at players.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Pick that one out. Barkley should be in the first 11 for me. So positive.
leicesterisme Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 How do we fit Barkley in then? Any way we have to. What a player.
Buzzell Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 We're looking really dangerous going forward. Barkley and Ox looking really good. Positive stuff.
Jimothy Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Can you imagine a three of Barkley, Sterling and Ox behind Sturridge. Would be unreal.
ScouseFox Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 How do we fit Barkley in then? and the ox and lallana and sterling. this is going to be tricky. can we play 15 men?
Buzzell Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Can you imagine a three of Barkley, Sterling and Ox behind Sturridge. Would be unreal. PACEEEEEE!
Stadt Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Hart Johnson( ) Cahill Jagielka Baines Sterling/Ox Henderson Gerrard Rooney Barkley Sturridge Anyone? I was moaning about playing strikers on the wing in another thread but Baines offers enough width so I think this could work. Lallana, Lambert and one of Ox/Sterling to come off the bench - Suddenly we don't look so bad.
RowlattsFox Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Barkley can be frustrating but he's got something in him. ox has been fantastic. Interesting to see them behind sturridge.
