Hodgson you old ****, you've got a decent squad of players and because of your selection we're going out after two games. Unacceptable. Rooney and Gerrard shouldn't play for England again, neither should Glen Johnson or Welbeck. Pitiful. Rooney - for all this bullshit about him wanting to play in the middle, is drifting out wide constantly. And is playing like an arsehole again. Surely now, the obsession with an average international player can stop.

Combine that with a weak defence and we have a group stage elimination (expected though to be fair). This won't be popular but if we had John Terry marshalling the back line would we have conceded the goals we have in this tournament? I'm saying possibly not.

But I do agree players look like they aren't bothered.

Uruguay has a population of 3 million. we should beat them more often than not, but never have..
