jayfox26 Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Give up on Ulloa, I'd have Borini over him! yeh lets go and spend £14m on a striker who hasn't exactly set the world alight!
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Gus Poyet quoted as saying if he doesn't sign a new contract, he will be sold this summer
Nick Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Even if he is unsettled, I doubt LCFC would meet his wage demands.
dannythefox Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Worth a try he'd be cheaper than deeney too. At least he's played in the prem and I think Pearson would get more out of him. The lad only wants regular football you can't fault him for not want to go on loan time after time.
Dickov22 Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 If he's that good, why do Sunderland keep bombing him out on loan? Scored a few goals at the end of last season, but other than that?
benpicko Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 If he's that good, why do Sunderland keep bombing him out on loan? Scored a few goals at the end of last season, but other than that? Because he's just turned 21 a few months ago?
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Because he's just turned 21 a few months ago? I don't believe age has anything to do with ability. You either have it or you don't. At 21 he is old enough to be playing in the first team if he's good enough.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 I don't think we'll be in for him now we've got Ulloa.

adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 to be fair to the lad I think we need to see him for a whole season in the prem to judge him. seeing this lad have a whole season in the prem could put his value up by 10 mill on top of what he's worth now, I would of preferred him to ulloa or deeney this kid has massive potential
Clever Fox Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 I think he would be a great addition to our squad and exactly the type of player Nigel seemed to be looking for. I know he didn't have a great start to his career but I think his only problem was he lacked the maturity as a person. For some players this only comes as they get a little older. His ability I don't think was ever in doubt. I also think we would be the perfect fit for him as he'd be with good players of a similar age and ambition.
Spudulike Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 I'd take him if only to stop him from scoring against us.
sylofox Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/sunderland-afc/wickham-told-sign-or-we-ll-have-to-sell-you-1-6761691 I just love the he signs or we sell him there is no in between comment. lol
AnotherShitSeason Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Would genuinely like him here if he'd fit our system. The kind of player I think Nige could turn around given the chance. Wickham & Vardy up front would be genuinely thrilling to watch ...whilst I beat the cretins round me for participating in the (shit trend 3 years ago) Poznan.
docho66 Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 I anticipate that he is wanting a good start to the season and will prob be sold off for big money in January. I fear he will be out of our price range, wages wise. Let's see what happened though, I would really like him at Leicester. Let's hope he holds talks. We could get him for £5m now they have offered the ultimatum - what a way to advertise your player for the cheap!
Dickov22 Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 We've just signed Ulloa and we have Vardy. Do we need Wickham too? Not for me.
MPH Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Do people REALLY believe we would sign Ulloa AND Wickham?
Steven Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Do people REALLY believe we would sign Ulloa AND Wickham? Are you questioning Nigel? Heretic.
Deucalion Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Do people REALLY believe we would sign Ulloa AND Wickham? I believe we are looking for another striker.
Rob1742 Posted 4 August 2014 Posted 4 August 2014 We certainly do need another striker. Vardy came off injured on Saturday, which leaves just Nugent and Ulloah. How Vardy plays would suggest it is hard to get a full season out of him. Defo one more to come in, and with Vards off on Saturday, probably put more pressure on us to do a deal with someone quickly.

Wood? GTF? Or are they Championship level?
Guest Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Wood? GTF? Or are they Championship level? I hope that we never have to start either of them this season.
