Dickov22 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Surprised and disappointed that a Leicester fan called 606 to complain about lots of Leicester fans booing at the full time whistle on Saturday. Savage and Fletch understandably couldn't believe it. The caller made us out to be a right bad bunch! I have to be honest, I didn't hear a single boo
Guest Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Not surprised myself. I heard some in SK2 and it is pretty unbelievable really. Absolutely no sense of perspective from some people
One Legged Beaver Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Heard one or two in SK2, possibly would have more but for the mass exodus when we were still winning 2-1...
ScouseFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 heard one or two, more of a disgruntled "oh f uck off" or "bollocks" come full time though. not really the chorus of boos we're used to after every defeat.
Walshy5 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Im not a fan of booing but you can understand peoples frustration when we get outclassed by a second string burnley side having just beat Man Utd.
steveherbe Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Forget the booing, how did KentFoxSteve perform on the moan in?
KFS Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Forget the booing, how did KentFoxSteve perform on the moan in? they were booing on that too
red5 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 I heard a bit in sk2, it would take a lot more than that for me to boo but I accept if others want to then that's their choice, It was a shit 2nd half though.
vicfarm7 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 A few near me sk4 booing what they saw as a poor ref performance.

Outclassed? It took a 96th-minute free-kick to earn a draw, with Schmeichel having relatively little to do. Burnley had spirit but little quality. We were in no way outclassed.
Deucalion Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Maybe 30 000 people grumbling can sound like a few people booing.
Fox92 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Heard a bit where I sit in SK2. Left as soon as their goal went in though, out of frustration and I suspect the boos were out of frustration too. That, I'm not surprised about. There is a difference between booing out of frustration and generally booing to aim it at the team. I think everybody expected us to pick up three points, Nigel included, I mean look at his comments post match.
Bamba's Babes Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 I booed. The second half performance was poor, very little fight or desire shown against a team we were more than capable of beating. Personally I am a passionate fan, I am either ecstatic or furious. When I'm at the game I have no middle ground. I'm sure that's the same with a lot of people that boo at the end of a game. I don't think me occasionally showing my displeasure makes me less of a fan than anybody else.

stripeyfox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 fvck me. If they are booing at the end of a 2-2 draw with Burnley off the back of a great start to the season, they want to think themselves lucky they weren't around in the late 80's!
Kinowe Soorie Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 I think I heard two people booing in the Double Decker?

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 There was booing at the fourth game of last season, when we were 1-0 down at half time to Birmingham. We'd actually done okay in that half... and it was on the back of taking 7 points out of 9, including two away wins! Fans are entitled to boo - doesn't always make it right though.

Dan Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 I heard a bit, but not loads. I didn't boo but didn't clap either. Just shook my head as I do every loss/game that feels like a loss.

In my mind you boo when the team or manager just doesn't give a shît, or fails to address obvious problems, and I would normally say over time as well. Certainly not after one poor half. The second half we froze, half the team seeming determined to cling on and half the team trying to win on their own-don't believe it was lack of effort. I understand anger and frustration, and particularly understand it after the massive drop in quality after half time. Not judging anyone who did boo, especially as I only saw it on a stream, but I think if I had I'd probably regret it in hindsight. Sincere question: given two days hindsight, would you boo?
