theessexfox Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Looked promising and confident in his brief cameo today, will he continue to be involved in matchday squads now? Anyone else impressed/somewhat excited by what he showed today?
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He played well so I doubt we'll see him for at least another 10 games. Leicester logic.
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Loved his shot towards the right corner flag Joking aside he looked very composed for a youngster on his debut. Would like to see him start
Guest Kopfkino Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I just liked how the ball fell to him, on his weaker foot but he still had a go which is more than can be said for most of them.
lgfualol Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I'd rather see him start than some of the others in our squad. No doubt he'll play a blinder vs Southampton then get dropped for Dean Hammond next game.
Riot Van Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He showed some drive which wasn't very evident from our 4 midfielders apart from maybe James. Would love to see him start in behind ulloa maybe at Southampton.
kingfox Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He made one good forward pass & run, and that was it. Would I like to see him start - Yes Did he look promising yesterday - Not really
Dan Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Seems to have a bit about him. I'd definitely have him in over Nugent at the minute.
Lambert09 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Personally I thought Nugent was good yesterday, best he's played all season imo
broughtonblue Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Reminded me of the likes of Cleverley and Spearing when they were here, obviously schooled in the right way and very promising. Just hope he continues to push on and fulfill his potential.
Bettsj2 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Could the OP pass me a straw to clutch on to from his collection?
Strokes Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Will he be the new Andy king, the saviour of Leicester city for one week? You decide.
harpendenfox Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Personally I thought Nugent was good yesterday, best he's played all season imo I respect your view my fellow Fox, but we must have been watching different games!
dayday Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I respect your view my fellow Fox, but we must have been watching different games! This, just not good enough, doesn't matter what position he plays in,he offers nothing
Dickov22 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Thought Powell looked classy. Good first touch, taller than I realised too. Showed in 10 minutes that he's far more capable than Nugent, who was dreadful again.
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He made one good forward pass & run, and that was it. Would I like to see him start - Yes Did he look promising yesterday - Not really bellend he only got 10 mins on the pitch I couldn't bang a wank out in 10 mins , look the best players on the lcfc side was wood , Ulloa Powell changed the game , if only pearson had a good tactical brain and made the changes at 50 mins when he could clearly see his shit diamond wasn't working !!
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I was encouraged by Powell. The main reason being he came and got the ball off the back four and tried to create something. The team is sorely lacking in this respect. I couldn't beleive Mahrez was dropped yesterday. Our most creative player, having the ability to make something out of little wasn't even playing. Strange decision IMO.
Fox92 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He made one good forward pass & run, and that was it. Would I like to see him start - Yes Did he look promising yesterday - Not really He always wanted the ball. At one point he dropped so deep to get it, he was behind Morgan. I was encouraged by his short spell yesterday.
ealingfox Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Offered more going forward in ten minutes than Nugent has all season.
stevelcfc Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 He showed some ENERGY and a direct drive which we lack from that midfield. Start him, Id also consider giving Lawrence a gig since we lack a winger, can't harm anyone for 1 game.
Bettsj2 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 bellend he only got 10 mins on the pitch I couldn't bang a wank out in 10 mins , look the best players on the lcfc side was wood , Ulloa Powell changed the game , if only pearson had a good tactical brain and made the changes at 50 mins when he could clearly see his shit diamond wasn't working !! Really? Couple of minutes and there's jizz everywhere.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Personally I thought Nugent was good yesterday, best he's played all season imoFfs. Not only did he not manage to find almost one single pass to a team mate, he avoids getting into goal scoring positions at all costs! First 5 games he did just about the only productive thing he can do at this level which is closing down defenders / pressing, but now he's not even doing that. A total and utter passenger, and I cannot fathom what Pearson has seen in him over this period to persist in picking him ahead of others.
Matt Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Deciding to send Nick Powell out on a season long loan deal, to Leicester City, appeared to be a decent move. It was thought that Powell`s career would advance considerably playing for a Premier League club on a regular basis. Unfortunately, that hasn`t proven to be the case and Powell has hardly figured with his season now looking like mirroring his season on loan at Wigan, last time out. There are rumours now doing the rounds that Manchester United might decide to recall the 20 year-old, in January, with a view to re-categorizing their options for the player. Read more: http://www.manchesterunited.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=375554#ixzz3HuvB4GXf Couldn't blame United for recalling him if that's true, use him or lose him! Especially if Nuge is getting in before him. Powell and Wood must be baffled.
KFS Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I swear to god if he's sent back to United whilst Nugent gets a game every week...
