Guest Bilo Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Things are pretty ghastly at the moment, but Villa away represents an opportunity. Their first win in nine games tonight came away from home, and their home form is notoriously poor with three defeats from the last four. If we're going to pick up points again on the road, they'll come here. Weirdly, I actually fancy us a bit here. We look reasonable going forward and a centre back combination of Moore and Was looks better than the status quo in my opinion. A scrappy, shitbag 1-0 win that will feature last on MOTD but could change our season. Ulloa to bag.
The Doctor Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I fancy it all to click here. We're creating but wasteful, and poor from crosses, but I think we might scrape a bit of luck defensively from an equally confidence-bereft Villa side, and take one of our chances. 1-0, Ulloa.
lgfualol Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 ****nknows Hamer De Laet Wasyl Moore Konch Cambiasso James Mahrez. Powell. Schlupp Ulloa Subs. Kasper, Simpson, Albrighton, King, Wood, Vardy, drinkwater 1-0 loss Cambiasso in an advanced role might work? Saves him running back. Could have Hammond or drink helping James
Webbo Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I don't even want to think about this yet, so depressed. If Pearson doesn't win this, assuming he lasts that long, he's as good as gone.
RowlattsFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Both teams shite with the ball but at least Villa have a pretty solid back 4 and keeper. I think we need to sacrifice one of our strikers and bring in Drinkwater. Try and control possession for once. Front 3 of albrighton, Ulloa and Mahrez.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Hamer Simpson Moore Waz Schlupp Albrighton Cambiasso Drinkwater James Mahrez Ulloa
Stevosevic Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Drop Kasper and no mistakes from Morgan gives us a chance
Corky Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Start with Albrighton. He can offer far more than Schlupp. Cambiasso should play but I'd rather see him with a two in midfield. Schmeichel (because he won't be dropped) De Laet Moore Wasyl Konchesky King Cambiasso James Albrighton (wide right) Mahrez (wide left) Ulloa Vardy is important for his pace but he seems to be running into dead ends at the moment and his finishing is wayward. Think this will give us a bit more strength in midfield and Mahrez can use his pace.
ScouseFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I'd have the same front six and any **** we can find to play in defence or goal. we won't win though.
Kierzz Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Pearson needs to win this or the Man City game otherwise he will be sacked. If we play like we did today and show the passion we had with 10 men, we''ll get the win. Aston Villa are definitely beatable at home
maynefox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 2v0 Villa, Pearson gone. (If he ain't gone already).
Nalis Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Pearson needs to win this or the Man City game otherwise he will be sacked. The same Man City who won the Premier League last season?
Master Fox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 This is the turning point. I refuse to give up hope. This team has come back from depths of disparity before. This is what makes us Leicester fans.
SystonFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 The same Man City who won the Premier League last season? Yes, that man city. Villa been poor you say? First win in ages away you say? Here have another, you're playing LCFC aft Er all! 2-0 villa. Can't see anything else, lcfc life is depressing again
SecretPro Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Start with Albrighton. This would be my team, with Hamer in net. Pearson is a blind man if he picks Schmeichel again on Sunday. Kind of glad Wes got red, gives the back 4 a little shake up
yorkie1999 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 We'll win this. We went down to 10 men tonight and I saw a bit of a fight from our players. If we can carry that into the villa game we've got a good chance.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Kasper De laat Moore Upson Schlupp Esteban James Drinky Mahrez Knocky Ulloa No chance of this happening but it's what I'd like to see
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 There must be changes. We can't keep on conceding goals this manner. Why on earth is King not playing? He was excellent in the first few games, our best player IMO yet no-one seems bothered. I'd play a midfield three of Drinkwater/King with James sitting in behind. Mahrez one side, Knockaert the other. Fans fave Cambiasso is too slow, for all his nice touches we are in a dogfight, not looking to make Europe. So he's out, for me. Schlupp left back (I have no idea how bad Konch has to be before he's dropped)? DeLaet or Simmo right back. Vardy up top. Moore with Wasa centre backs. Hamer in goal. I'm getting fed up with Kasper. The problem is, you just know Pearson won't do it (although even he alluded earlier to the team not supporting the defence, so you never know...) In all honesty though, it's mix and match really. You can't polish what appears to be the proverbial turd.
lgfualol Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Won at Crystal Palace tonight. Can only see a draw or loss.
