Tuna Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 yeah should've been a pen. they're just about to ruin our defence for the 13th game in a row Fook the peno, we missed enough chances without that. Can't help ourselves. Can't score, can't defend, no hope.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 STONE WALL penalty!! Can not believe this! We have been so unlucky! You make your own luck. Wes should have scored, that would have been a point. We shouldn't been needing these decisions to go for us in order to try and rescue us a point/points.
Danno Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Nice of Nugent to let the ball in there. Fvck off back to Pompey you good for nothing scouse cvnt.
Jace Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 1 player this season you never see turn their back or run away when in a wall for a free kick is Cambiasso, lack of bravery and passion has cost us that 2nd goal
Swarles Barkley Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Simple fvcking logic tells you that if the defender won the ball it wouldve come back the other way. Standard of referees for the last 2/3yrs has been absolutely appalling. Such a stone wall penalty its actually laughable
EnglishOxide Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 You make your own luck. Please **** off with this cliché. It wouldn't be luck if you could control it. The ref could have given a pen. Lloris could have not got a touch on the cross so Morgan taps in an equaliser. These things are part of fine margins and luck.
jimmer Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Our defence is shambolic. Whole new back line needed for the prem.

We can't hope and pray for luck in all of our games, we've been saying we've been unlucky all season 'played well, didn't get the result the performance deserved' and where has that gotten us? Bottom of the league. Stick away the chances we create, cut out the silly errors and we wouldn't need to blame the ref or 'luck, especially not today, as we'd have won the game.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Come on , you seriously can't blame todays result on their performance. At the end of the day we were unlucky, we were the better team.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Come on , you seriously can't blame todays result on their performance. At the end of the day we were unlucky, we were the better team. I don't believe we were unlucky. Hamer should have done better with their FK, Wes should have cleared the ball and scored the goal. Where's the luck in individual errors? It was our own fault. It wasn't as if the ball hit the ref and went into our net, that would have been unlucky.

Had we won 3-0 the decision would still be unlucky.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 The only 'fine margins' we need to worry about are the ones in the transfer market. Miss those chances and we're fooked.
jmono84 Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 It says we played a 4-2-3-1 on MOTD... Anyone listen before the game and hear that's how we set up? Thought we looked loads better today but I thought it looked a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 watching from the stands.

Thought we looked loads better today but I thought it looked a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 watching from the stands. Looked like 442/4411 to me aswell. We had one striker sitting back and one staying up.
MPH Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 WHO will want to come here??? We'll have to throw in relegation clauses to tempt players, it's the only way. Loan with view to a permanent move is our best bet.
Merging Cultures Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Luck doesn't really exist in footballI totally agree with this.It is stupid to say we were unlucky, we were the better team, we should have won. If we were the better team we would have won. Better teams make their own 'luck'. Every team is as strong as their weakest link. For us, that is our left side, our lightweight midfield, poor defence, inaccurate shooting and haphazard goalkeeping. In other terms, we are not good enough for the PL.
Dickov22 Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Luck doesn't really exist in football I think it does, but everything evens out over a season. We were dead lucky to win at Stoke, dead unlucky yesterday.
justfoxes Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Positives Second half was the best we've played since Man Utd - hands down. Negatives Defending...again! Got to agree there 2nd half really showed us what we need in January a proven goal scorer a defensive minded player rather someone that loses it and wouldn't look out of place in a wwe wrestling ring and we need to find a captain that would demand the best out of his players and lead them the way a captain should as Morgan is not the best captain we've had ! But the 2nd half had me thinking we had some amazing performances MAHREZ will be missed in January he's been unlucky with some of his goal attempts his free kick was unfortunate not to go in ! But all in all we showed we can play well and we've shown our weaknesses which hopefully will be sorted in the transfer window, don't know what you think whether it's luck rub of green or whatever you think about it but something's got to go our way soon and let's hope we can start reaping the results our way for a change last game of the year Sunday so let's hope 2015 brings us better results and more points to guide us to our great escape and make our stay in this elite league a lot longer !!
Raj Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Still feel numb, proud and pissed off in equal proportions today. Really really thought we'd win yesterday....
Corky Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Both the wall and keeper are at fault for the goal. Should've been a penalty too, Vertonghen didn't win the ball, it was kicked against him. Debuchy won the ball for that penalty, Vardy was impeded unfairly.
Matt Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Still feel numb, proud and pissed off in equal proportions today. Really really thought we'd win yesterday.... It's starting to hurt less and less with every defeat now it's become normal, infact I don't think i'd quite know what to do should we somehow get a win.
Stadt Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 I think it does, but everything evens out over a season. We were dead lucky to win at Stoke, dead unlucky yesterday. We weren't lucky at Stoke. They were shit and couldn't score and we took our only chance. Maybe we didn't deserve to win the game if you look at the stats but that's not how it works.I don't think we were unlucky against Spurs, we conceded two goals through erros, obviously, may for we should have gotten a penalty but that boils down to bad refereeing. Ulloa and Mahrez hitting tge woodwork isn't bad luck either that's their fault they hit the post on the bar.
Jimmy Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 we have a player making mistakes most weeks which cost us goals but because he has a bit of cloth extra on his sleeve Nigel Pearson would never drop him, our defence has been awful all season, Liam was made the scapegoat but I see nothing different, get Liam Moore back in drop Morgan and send a message that constant mistakes won't be tollerated
