Decent restaurants in and around town?

Recommended Posts

Where is meat cure?

Me and the wife are going Prezzo in Leicester next weekend. Any thoughts? Looks a bit "chainy" to me but she's fussy and only really likes Italian.

They've got three restaurants, but the one in Leicester is on Highcross Street.

They burgers are decent and reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

It's not bad but I'd probably walk 2 minutes up silver street and go to Ask instead.

Been there a few times pal so when she suggested ask I said find somewhere different,

Of course I can google what such and such a place is like but my life is much more fulfilled when foxestalk members reply and info me out

Had a big steak last night at the Man at Arms, Bitteswell

Very nicely cooked. Good prices too.

I make the effort to go here 3-4 times a year at least, lovely place.

Has anyone been to the Haycock and Tailbat yet? Some of the meats look fantastic. Can get Zebra, Python, Wild Boar, Crocodile etc along with the usual menu.

Bit misleading there Col, more 'whole cow' than steak lol

Brilliant though, they really don't skip quality for size.

If you want to get lucky this Valentines Day, take your missus to TJs.

TJs is the burger wagon between the Dry Dock and Homebase.

It's the best burgers you will ever get and is a sure move to impress the ladies.

Honestly, these are amazing burgers, the best ever and well worth a visit.

Edit - might be AJs not TJs
