Jamiebux Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Anti climax especially as kram was about to come on just as they score!
m4DD0gg Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Only positive was Krameric looks bright, why he was not started i will never know, fair doos he might be shattered by 50-60 mins but would have done a dam sight more that the abomination that is 'vargent'. Plenty of negatives, midfield was boys against men, **** all urgency to the point of embarrassment considering what was at stake today and the lift it would have given the squad. Finally that useless useless left back of ours, cant even bring myself to type his name he is that shit.
Crinklyfox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 We created very little and were the poorer side. We are in such a poor position in the league that performances like that, which otherwise could be put down to 'one of those weeks - poor day at the office' could end up as killers by the end of the season.
BigWesMorgan Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Perspective. 3 Points from safety but with difficult games coming up. A few new additions needed in midfield and defense. Next week. Hamer De Laet Wasilewski Morgan Schlupp Knockaert Cambiasso Hammond Albrighton Kramaric Ulloa
KFS Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 King and Drinkwater awful, got dicked on by Nzonzi. Konchesky, please fvck off. Awful distribution every time.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 You see this is the reason why non of us could ever realistically be football managers. We just don't see the logic in starting the game with two strikers on the pitch who have 3 goals between them all season, leaving our 8 goal top scorer on the bench and a brand new 9 million striker waiting. None of us would have thought to employ those masterful tactics.
v6rat Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Starting with two strikers who've done squat this season says it all
ousefox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 ****ing disgusting performance that. absolute joke second half
WiFoxes Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Not a lot of promise shown today. But I just hope this means we won't see the starting combo of Vardy/Nugent anymore this year. Not saying it was all their fault, but they struggled to create anything.
nickelbyfox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 and that Lawerence - shouldn't be near the matchday squad as yet
weller54 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 one game and back come the moaners.....we were poor today....it happens Yer... One game we HAD to win!!.. Get real.
EGBFitness Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Poor game as a whole. We desperately need more quality in CM!! We lacked strength, creativity and distribution. Cambiasso is probably our strongest CM but he hasn't got the legs for 90 mins and to be running full length of the pitch supporting defence and midfield. Drinkwater is not premier league quality, not yet anyways
Mad Dog Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 The last 30 minutes is the worst performance City have put in his season. What a shame, today was such a great opportunity. We'd be 16th now with a win.
MC Prussian Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 They think it's all over....... It is now!!!! Yes, this game's over now. Anything else you'd like to tell us?
Fox92 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Worst performance of the season? Just shows how awful Villa were Think that's harsh. Remember we've had two decent performances against Newcastle and Liverpool. Won at Hull also, granted they'd argue they deserved to score.
Webbo Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 They were the better side in the second half but we could have easily got a point. Kramaric didn't do much but I'm not judging him on that. What was the idea of bringing Lawrence on? Was never going to affect the game in our favour.
ealingfox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Really was desperately poor. Made it so so easy for them from start to finish. We had nothing about us. Game was lost at 2pm with the lineup. No presence in midfield, and Nugent and Vardy, well on their way to being the worst PL front pairing since it began. I'm embarrassed about our support as well. L1 did their best but it was just hopeless from start to finish. Stoke will never pick up an easier 3 points away from home.
lgfualol Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 one game and back come the moaners.....we were poor today....it happens Next games include Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Everton away and Palace & Chelsea at home. This was our potential last 3 points for a while and after previous great results why can't people moan about it?
cityfanlee23 Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 one game and back come the moaners.....we were poor today....it happens In fairness... We are running out of time... Have a difficult run ahead of us now.. And QPR and burnley lost... Sums us up really, kramaric would good when he came on. Wonder how long before we ruin his confidence too!! Still need atleast 3 players
Guest Bilo Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Starting Nugent and Vardy was an error. Why a team bottom of the table leaves £18m worth of strikers on the bench is a bit of a mystery. We need Cambiasso back to shore up the midfield. We gave up when Bojan scored and made it easy for them. Not good, huge improvements needed. On the plus side, Kramaric looks good. Decent positioning, nice touch and quick.
bovril Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Embarrassingly poor in the 2nd half. Playing on the counter isn't reliant on pace alone, you need players that can keep and use the ball. But tactics and team selection are really immaterial if you can't even threaten a mid table team, at home, in the 2nd half. Stoke were so comfortable. As ever this season we looked so devoid of ideas towards the end.
Tuna Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Rubbish. Surely even the most deluded of City fans will accept that we are down. Shocking errors from the manager. Why no Albrighton?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Great first half, poor second half. Result was correct, on to the next
