cityfanlee23 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 I think he'll go to Sunderland if they stay up, probably around 3-4 million. This. People are putting some ridiculous fees on his head based on Fulham overspending.... He isn't as good as we love to believe... Quality player mind you... But certainly not £8m+ based on some consistently decent performances, but nothing outstanding and too many average performances. Best of a bad bunch! 5-6m max to someone like Swansea
shen Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He'll go Palace or Newcastle I think. Either that or back to France. Fee will likely be £3-5 mil
The other Ollie Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 £10 million to the florests, who of course wont pay, so we end up with £1.98, and a half eaten packet of Rolo's.
David Hankey Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Who says he's going? This pure speculation. No doubt there are get-out clauses with several players, however, they should stay and get the Club promoted again, after all, their efforts are getting us relegated!!
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Did someone really write 20 million?
ImBlue Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Did someone really write 20 million? Why not? When Leonardo Ulloa can cost £10m, why the hell not!
Devonfox1884 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Around £7milion to Arsenal or Southampton.
dannythefox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 I'd say 8-10 million in the current market but we don't need to sell.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Why not? When Leonardo Ulloa can cost £10m, why the hell not! What planet are you from? If I were you, I'd go back.
ScouseFox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 stringer tweeting that mahrez has "made a comment that suggests he isn't keen on playing in the champ again". so if that's true and he doesn't want to he will leave. doesn't seem like he'd force a transfer through and be a dick etc and cos we don't need to sell from a financial point of view, we could just sit and wait for the highest bidder, assuming there will be a few.
GaelicFox Posted 23 February 2015 Author Posted 23 February 2015 Gone off boil a little .....any player that wants to go should be let go , championship needs a together camp

Vlad the Fox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Have any of our players been good enough to attract interest from a host of top flight clubs? I don't think so. Mahrez seems to get away with a lot from our fans, too often he has no impact on a game. He has potential and has shown promise but lacks any sort of consistancy. If there's any interest it will be from a bottom half prem team or some european leagues bottom half team.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 We hold all the cards if a club wants him they have to pay simple as.
Vlad the Fox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 We hold all the cards if a club wants him they have to pay simple as. Agree, most of our star performers from last season are on extended contracts, unless a player kicks up a fuss I can see the club rebuffing any offers as the did in January 14. Unless the manager wants rid or silly money is offered then I think players will stay put.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 A couple of bad games and he's valued at £3m, a couple of good ones and he's valued in the teens. Seems he is spending far too long in his own half, where his effectiveness is almost completely nullified. Having to cover for Simpson is undoing all the good work he could potentially be doing. He shouldn't be doubling up with Simpson when we've an extra centre back to come across and do that. He can hurt teams, but that isn't going to happen on the edge of our own area.
Richmondfox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He's under contract so it doesn't matter what he thinks or hints at, we don't need to sell. 20 mill minimum, as above has said the club hold all the cards. Why should other clubs take that mick when we want their players, time for us to do the same. Price people out and if he is that unhappy let him go in Jan after he's helped us for half the season.
yorkie1999 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 To tell the truth, I'm not keen on us playing in the champ again.

He'll have no problem forcing a transfer through, I'm a big Riyad fan but the way he was re tweeting all our fans/newspaper articles etc when we were tracking him at Le Havre was pretty disrespectful to his own club. If big sides are interested he'll have no problem doing the same again.

Yet Schlupp is getting around the opposition box and finding chances for himself, because despite perception Konchesky is actually competent Mahrez will no doubt be on his A game against Man City
gerrytaggart Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Someone will snap him up for £5M and then when he realises his full potential sell him for £25M!!
