harwich fox Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 It has been suggested that the club are only interested in making money and writing off debts this season and don't really want to stay in the Premier league, and will be looking forward the parachute payment, can't be true surely ? Has anyone heard anything similar?
Poznan34 Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 We would get more money by staying in the division in the long term?!
AKCJ Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Yeah, we're trying to settle debts so we'll purposefully get relegated into a league not nearly as lucrative as this one.
Charl91 Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 It has been suggested that the club are only interested in making money and writing off debts this season and don't really want to stay in the Premier league, and will be looking forward the parachute payment, can't be true surely ? Has anyone heard anything similar? That's why they spent 18m on two players?
Webbo Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 We would get more money by staying in the division in the long term?! That's far too obvious to be true.
Matt Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Never understood the big 'incentive' (Not sure thats the right word but i'm going with it) of parachute payments, ok it's a nice safety net but surely staying up would make generate more money or am I being tick?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 One of the most rediculous things I've ever seen on here and that's saying something.
ealingfox Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Was hoping people were finally coming around to agreeing with me that there's been a conspiracy to get us relegated because of what we did to Man Utd. FA, officials and the media are all in on the act.
Monk Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Wouldn't go as far as to say it's a conspiracy but certainly their non sacking of Pearson suggests they are less bothered about relegation than we thought.
harwich fox Posted 28 February 2015 Author Posted 28 February 2015 It could explain our appalling form and we've hardly lashed out on players in Premier league terms they are mere gestures .
theessexfox Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 It could explain our appalling form and we've hardly lashed out on players in Premier league terms they are mere gestures . Do you understand that we get more money from being in the PL than parachute payments give us?
VLC86 Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 I heard a rumour that Top loves Forest and he knew how shit Albrighton is, how Upson would be injured and has formed an evil allegiance with Wes to send us down. Anyone heard anything similar?
harwich fox Posted 28 February 2015 Author Posted 28 February 2015 Ridiculous? I've heard heard worse theories like a while back, before MON, a certain chairman said he didn't want us to get promoted !
Rincewind Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 if we are going to have conspiracy theories at least make them logical.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 People actually start threads like this
Mike Oxlong Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 I've heard a rumour that Gabrielle has a wooden leg.
harwich fox Posted 28 February 2015 Author Posted 28 February 2015 Its only what I've heard you imbecile.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Wouldn't go as far as to say it's a conspiracy but certainly their non sacking of Pearson suggests they are less bothered about relegation than we thought. Or more concerned about the stability and long term development of the club...
KFS Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Its only what I've heard you imbecile. How could you possibly call me an imbecile? Did you think about it before posting? It's drivel mate.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Surely it's far more profitable to remain the premier league - especially in light of the increased TV deal...?
Fox92 Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 It has been suggested that the club are only interested in making money and writing off debts this season and don't really want to stay in the Premier league, and will be looking forward the parachute payment, can't be true surely ? Has anyone heard anything similar? By who?
