Schlupp

With this formation - 100% yes.

In a back 4 - 100% no.

He is more defensive than most wingers that play in the Prem so he fits in that position well and going forward he looks a lot more composed than he did earlier on in the season. Probably the most improved player in our team this year considering how crap he was to how vital he has been in recent weeks.

Still think we need a left back though, but in this formation, hes a great option to have, possibly good enough for a top half team if they went with 3 at the back.

I slated him all season up until now, hes surprised me, but I still stick to the point that he is no where near a Premiership left back because of his decision making and tactical awareness. In his position now, he gets a lot more room for error.

I believe we have finally found his position at lwb and it is our most successful formation this year.. But that doesn't change the fact he is our utility man aswell which means we still need a like for like quality replacemnt in case of injury or change of formation!

Also got an assist after an 'impressive run' as well apparently

His goal today was amazing, love the guy

I've just seen the highlights and didn't see him get an assist and his goal was decent but took a deflection through the defenders legs. I love Jeff but this seems a bit OTT.

I haven't seen anything, I'm just quoting the Ghana twitter account (hence the apparently and the '...')

Schlupp coming inside into a midfield position and proving very effective. The guy is a godsend for his versatility and for the pace which makes him a constant danger to even the best defences.  Leicester's job is to make sure he keeps improving and working, in particularly, on his last touch accuracy whether it be a finishing shot or a final pass. With confidence and the right attitude, Schlupp's potential is exciting.

What he needs to work on is not to panic when defending - he can become sloppy and spend too much time chasing others around.

I've got to say for all of his flaws his attitude has always struck me as absolutely spot on. I've never seen a player look so happy at scoring.

Am I the only person who thinks Schlupp is being massively overhyped at the moment?

Don't get me wrong he's been good this year for his first year in the Prem & he's came on leaps & bounds. I understand he is still really young so he has so much potential & a bright future but he hasn't proven anything yet.

Seems like people think he's a world beater already.

Yes he has he's proved he can play and compete in the premiership. He has pace to spare over others. He's

strong and learning all the time. He needs to work on his kicking then he'll really become a top player.

i agree but its scary that he has to work on his kicking lol lol

The way he went past those QPR players, I think it's fair to get excited.

He's not a world-beater, he has serious flaws but on his day is unplayable going forward. Shame he can't shoot.

Yes but you would be surprised the amount of top players who continually work on the simple task of just kicking the Ball. Even those with the natural ability like Beckham worked for hour after hour improving their skill.

I'd urge both Jeff and Nigel to work on that side of his game as I feel he could become a 50 million pound player with that added asset. The rest is coming along nicely.

£50 million!?!?!

Considering Zidane, Figa etc. cost £50m I don't think Schlupp is that calibre, unless you've been watching a different Schlupp?

They went in a different time though - nowadays we live in a world when Andy Carroll can go for £35m. Schlupp probably won't ever go for 50 mill, but let's be clear; he's had a very good couple of months and has adapted to the premiership well; he's an explosive winger with a lot of pace and is still a very young lad. If he can get a footballing brain and a more consistent end product he'd be an excellent player.
