blue army 1988 Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 It's got to be the same team in my opinion. Did so well against swans so reward them with another start
Guest Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 All the pressure is on Burnley. If we win they'll have little chance of catching us and will probably need to beat Hull away as they'll need to finish above Hull, QPR and Sunderland to stay up. If it's a draw that's not good enough for them, you need to win your home games against relegation rivals at this stage. If we lose we still have every chance of finishing above them, we can afford to lose this but Burnley can't. I don't think we can afford to lose this. All the momentum and confidence will be gone if we lose to the bottom team in the league. For me this is a must win game. a loss and we still need at least 7 points from our remaining games.
st albans fox Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 do we miss the pen ben or was it outside the box? need to know
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Kasper RDL Huth Morgan Konchesky Albrighton Cambiasso King Schluup Kramaric Vardy I think Konh is the better defender and we miss Schluup going forward when left back. Without Barnes I think Kram dropping deep could be the big bonus, I think he will run riot!! Burnley 1 - Leicester 4 Kramaric hat trick and the magic man with one for luck. We are staying up! I know Merson has been 'bigging us up', but i didn't realise he'd signed for us, i guess he's due a goal after all this time!
Callabinho Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Kramaric will be key for me, he is fearless and will have a go at anyone. Plus people need to remember that we've just prized ourselves off the bottom of the table for the first time since October? yes we need to be careful but those lads are going to be absolutely buzzing, I cant imagine how good they will feel. Yes I would take a draw, but I think we'll win, not just win I think we will absolutely ****ing destroy them.

Guest Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 That's ridiculous though as a point is fine. A point is only fine if you want to be playing QPR and hoping to get something out of it. I want to be safe before QPR - Burnley are bottom of the league, not scoring. We NEED to win and then continue the good feeling to the end of the season.

Strange that you think this is a must win game but before the Swansea game you said that our relegation rivals will expect us to get beat against Swansea and would be "shitting themselves" if we took a point. Take a point from Burnley are their chances of finishing above us are diminished even more. A point is a very good point for us not least because we stop Burnley making any ground on us and it leaves them with one more home match this season (3 away) and leaves us with one away match (4 at home).
Harry - LCFC Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 A point is only fine if you want to be playing QPR and hoping to get something out of it. I want to be safe before QPR - Burnley are bottom of the league, not scoring. We NEED to win and then continue the good feeling to the end of the season. If we lose this we are not relegated. We're not even in serious danger of being relegated. We're in a more awkward position and that's it. It's boring listening to people exaggerate (lie) about games being 'must win'.

I want to be safe before QPR - Burnley are bottom of the league, not scoring. We NEED to win and then continue the good feeling to the end of the season. Give us a point against Burnley away and Sunderland away. Then we can get the rest of the points in our home fixtures. Not only that it stops Burnley and Sunderland getting a march on us. Don't you think Burnley and Sunderland will look at a home fixture versus Leicester and see this as their best opportunity for three points this season? We'll have plenty of games when we have expectation for points, they'll be going into a lot of their matches were the likely result is they'll lose.

Well there is a big difference between what you and what is NEEDed. And that's not the case anyway we could quite conceviable win at the Stadium Light and win against Newcasle, along with a point Saturday, that'll probably do us, not to mention that going into the last game at home to QPR who are terrible on the road is hardly the worst position to be in, especially given where we were a month ago. I think you need to look up the word must if you think Saturday is "must" win. A point will more than probably see us out the bottom 3, it'd be a good result. This is nothing like must win. Must not lose perhaps and while a win would be the most prefferable outcome draw would be fine.
Max Power Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Already nervous ahead of this one. Got a killer sore throat as well, so I sound a bit like Sean Dyche. Is that a bad omen? Hope it clears by Saturday.

Seems strange that you then call it a MUST NOT LOSE If we're being literal maybe you shouldn't use "fine" for getting 1 point either

narboroughblue Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Gutted I can't go to this one. It's my stag do in Bristol and with all the home fixtures we have was tough to pick a weekend. However we have arranged to be in a bar in front of Soccer Saturday so expect to hear the cheers from Bristol if it's the result we want. Get married the day after QPR game and already hoping I can barely say my vowels through cheering the lads on following them safely negotiating our first season back. I'd take a draw on Saturday but a win would be blooming marvellous.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 I think the first goal is vital in this one, more so than most games, if they get the first goal we'd do well to break them down and get anything from the game, if we get the first goal I can see us killing them on the break and winning 3-0/3-1.
The Doctor Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Its a must not lose let's be honest - win and we're 5 clear of Burnley, realistically clear of being caught by them, draw and we hold them off, good enough. Lose and suddenly we're back to where we were this time last week
Webbo Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Trouble is, I can see Hull getting a result against Liverpool.

ealingfox Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Hull will get something off Liverpool who are doggo and now have nothing to play for. If QPR don't get anything off West Ham at home then it's very difficult to see them staying up. West ham are absolute muck atm, have nothing to play for and a lame duck manager to boot. I think we have to assume QPR will win this. Sunderland will probably lose as Stoke are a good side at home. The fact that Stoke have nothing to play for is less relevant here as realistically Stoke have had nothing to play for for months now. That said, the Mackems could easily nick a point. A win would be huge for us.
Brooksy Posted 21 April 2015 Posted 21 April 2015 Makes me laugh how some people are expecting us to do em by 3 or 4 goals, we never thrash anyone away from home
