I just can’t comprehend what goes through some people’s minds. Why are they so desperate to see the players run on the pitch? Glad it wasn’t ruined but also annoyed that the banner has been defaced.

which section of the kop were trying to deface it?

I would guess that 130 years of history means very little to some people who have a very recent interest in football.

You're so right. You have to remember that it's put together by a group of volunteers who do it for no other reason than the passion they have for the club. Clearly a lot of work goes into something that last less than a few minutes.

Quite a few individuals. There’s plenty of pictures about. Bet it’s came back with lots of holes in.

Sitting in the family stand I could clearly see some idiot in the bottom left corner to central area make a massive rip through it,then when it was being removed some donut made a massive rip in the tifo
