He may lack some technical ability but if you can't see how important he is to us coming on in games then you sir are an ostrich!

He's so powerful and strong. appreciate he gave a pen away today but he had a real impact going forward.

You must understand our forward players as a unit are successful as they are all collectively a quick, powerful group who can counter at pace. Schlupp is the perfect fit for us to be in and around the squad and provides evidence of that most weeks.

His use of the ball is better than it was although granted his finishing could do with some work but you must surely see what he brings to us!

Anyone criticising the contribution of any of the squad needs to wake up, Schlupp played his part including a great winner at Norwich away.

He's so inconsistent it's unreal. Some games he looks up for it and actually runs at players, other games (such as at Chelsea) he looks half bothered and drifts out of the game.
