weller54 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Lets not worry about Villa on saturday, they took points off a team near us (good thing) they didnt play particularly well (good thing) and where gifted a howler of a goal by Hennessey to win ...all about confidence though.. Saturday won't be easy.
masterg59 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 ...all about confidence though.. Saturday won't be easy. How is it concerning? Villa were just less shit than Palace... this
Master Fox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Villa don't stand a chance against us. False hope for them.
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 West Ham sensational in that second half. They are dark horses for a top four spot.
AjcW Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Newcastle were excellent and deserved the equaliser. Great game and very happy when that went in. Wijnaldum really has something about him!
foxes21 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Hopefully West Ham can take points off our rivals touch wood
Tuna Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 4 league games in a row without scoring for Palace. Bournemouth had stonewall penalty missed.
lgfualol Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 We're so gonna lose against villa and there will be pandemonium
Dan Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 How are people worried? Villa are fvcking shit. Anything other than three points remains a dreadful result.
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Very concerning for saturday. It's so typical of you to be overly negative. No it is not 'very concerning'. If Villa had played well then maybe, but they didn't.
Donut Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 I think Villa had a decent chance of winning the game tonight. Theyd have wanted to have proved a point after the shambles at Wycombe, the behaviour of the players in wanting to prove a point to the fans, and that one or two players are playing for their futures. They werent just going to lose every game 3-0 until the end of the season. That said, they are the worst team in the division and we should be going there to take all 3 points.
TheSomersetFox Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Was at the Villa game with a couple villa supporting mates tonight. God it was grim, we really are so lucky to support our club. Absolutely miles ahead of them in a fair few ways. Villa pretty much dominated but only because Palace were complete fvcking dogshit, like truly dreadful. Villa were busy and Ayew looked decent, but they were still quite shit and were clueless in the final 3rd. Not that much to worry about this Saturday for me.
Gerard Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 I'm glad Villa won and not just for stopping Palace getting 3pts. They were pretty good against us when we beat them 3-2 and now they have won their last game it should eradicate any complacency we may have shown. All games are tough in the PL and I could accept losing against Tottenham but failure to beat Villa will be a sickner.

Wycombe Fox Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Q: Why shouldn't Man United players go dog-walking? A: They can't hold onto a lead
Grewks Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Palace are not as great as everyone makes them out to be. Haven't had a decent striker since being back in the prem.

AKCJ Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Palace are not as great as everyone makes them out to be. Haven't had a decent striker since being back in the prem. 1 goal from a striker in 23 games and that was a penalty I think.
filbertway Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 I agree with this. Wickham is not really and never has been a top drawer striker. They're missing Bolasie at the minute. I imagine when Gayle and Bolasie are back their results will pick up. Much like when West Ham lost Payet, Sakho and Valencia.

Much like when West Ham lost Payet, Sakho and Valencia. Spot on about Bolasie. Never really rated Gayle though mate to be fair. Palace need a finisher if they are to kick on at all.
