Guest bss9401 Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Walcott is a popular choice amongst the media when he is fit so if we use him as a yardstick on the qualities required then Vardy should be in the side. If we compared Vardy's current form to that of Rooney or Kane then there is no doubt that Vardy should start.

Dickov22 Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Kane isn't lazy now, but when he was on loan here, he was exceptionally lazy, barely ever closed down defenders or got above a slow jog. Makes the effort he puts in for Spurs more galling, given that he couldn't be arsed here. Can't say I noticed. Big fan of Pearson, but his decision to sign him on loan then play him on the wing was ridiculous.
Dan Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Still think Kane is always going to be somewhere in between his form this season and his form last season. On current form though I wouldn't swap Vardy for him.

Guest Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 When's the squad for Euro 2016 actually announced? Obviously we all know Vardy should be the first striker in the squad in this sort of form, but got a horrible feeling he won't be picked purely because he doesn't play for United Liverpool Chelsea etc He may play for a big club before the end of the season.
Corky Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Kane will be a fairly consistent goalscorer but I doubt he'll have a season like last again.
TJB-fox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 He may play for a big club before the end of the season.I extremely extremely doubt that, and it would have to be before the squads picked not the end of the season! Vardy won't leave unless we accept stupid money for him I personally think

The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 October 2015 Author Posted 6 October 2015 A club renowned for paying over the odds for English players that smacks of desperation. He'll be playing for Liverpool in no time
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Rooney & Ings sat out of training today with knocks, Townsend called to training as cover .... Could be good for Vardy
ronnup Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Rooney & Ings sat out of training today with knocks, Townsend called to training as cover .... Could be good for Vardy Great news for Jamie, he knows what Walcott offers. I'd like to see Kane and Vardy up top.
lgfualol Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Great news for Jamie, he knows what Walcott offers. I'd like to see Kane and Vardy up top. The 2012/13 dream team back together
conLAD logan Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 rooney sat out again, vardy could perhaps get his chance upfront !
benpicko Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Walcott knows https://twitter.com/england/status/651739242574544896 Just start those two up front then, clearly respect each other
whoareyaaa Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Rooney should drop into AM with Walcott and Vardy up top that would be devistating.
Danizen Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Rooney should drop into AM with Walcott and Vardy up top that would be devistating.Rooney is woeful as an AM. That isn't bandwagon jumping, he's never been any good in that position. He just slows the play down and cuts off the striker from the midfield. It'll be even worse with the form he's currently in. When he's on form he needs to play up front, off form keep him on the sidelines.
VLC86 Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Hope Vardy gets his chance, especially as iv just paid £50 to watch it.

Max Power Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Rooney should drop into AM with Walcott and Vardy up top that would be devistating. Agree with that bit
VLC86 Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 1 month sky subscription? A match ticket. Imagine the banter from Roy when Vardy starts on the wing with Walcott upfront.
