Sol thewall Bamba Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Not exactly surprising, if I'm not mistaken, hasn't he got more goals in the prem than the other 4 forwards combined?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 think he'll start with Rooney and Ings, although all of them are looking quite good.

Fridgechef Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Hopefully he starts, and score! Would be ace, and hard to deny him a place in the next set of qualifiers, especially if he carries on scoring in the prem!
filbertway Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 If Studge stays fit it looks like it's going to be between Ings and Vardy for that 5th striking spot at the Euro's.
Aus Fox Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Shows all you have to so is be English and put on a lifer pool shirt and you get a call up. Has Danny Ings done anything I am not aware of to get a call up? Has he played 90 mins in the league yet this season? Scored 1 goal??

goose2010 Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 If Ings had of signed for someone like Sunderland or Newcastle and had the record he has this season, he would be no way near the squad!
Kitchandro Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Thank god Vardy's in. How are Kane and Ings in and Sturridge isn't
Fox in the North Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Thank god Vardy's in. How are Kane and Ings in and Sturridge isn't Because sturridge's legs will shatter into tiny pieces after 30 minutes?

Think Rooney, Kane, Sturridge, Welbeck, Walcott (utility player) will almost certainly be chosen over Vardy / Ings if they're all fit for euros. Would love Vardy to prove them wrong and make it impossible to not pick him though.
Staffs Fox Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 If Ings had of signed for someone like Sunderland or Newcastle and had the record he has this season, he would be no way near the squad! To be fair, inexplicably Ings didn't play for Liverpool in the first month of the season and has 2 in 3 since coming into the side, He's playing very well, Kane is the one who should be missing out, he scored one offside goal and comes out with a claim saying he's answered his one season wonder critics with one goal!! Muppet But he's scored in his last 2 England games, doesn't that count for something? If he had scored 10 PL goals this season but doesn't ever score for England should he still be in the squad over a player who scores goals internationally but less so at club level? Let's face it, Kane will be in as he's scoring for England most times he plays right now.
goose2010 Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Thank god Vardy's in. How are Kane and Ings in and Sturridge isn't Rogers asked the FA not to pick him as he still isn't 100% - to be honest I agree no point risking him in games that mean nothing

Vardy probably just has to stay fit and he'll make it by default given the injury prone nature of English strikers.
Alexikokopops Posted 1 October 2015 Share Posted 1 October 2015 Thank god Vardy's in. How are Kane and Ings in and Sturridge isn't I think it's more to do with the fact he's just come back from injury (and to stop him falling apart and ****ing things up long term) rather than they think Ings is a better choice. Would love Vardy to prove them wrong and make it impossible to not pick him though. Vardy, Ings and Berahino will all push the likely 5. It only takes an injury or perhaps Welbeck not starting many games for Arsenal for Vardy to stand a real chance of making it.
