Matt Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Apparently that twat has been trying to poach the back room. Pearson FOAD http://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive/exclusive-fulhams-pursuit-of-nigel-pearson-hits-snag-over-his-assistants Where's the Walkers Stadium?
Webbo Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Surely it's not impossible for Pearson to find a new coaching team? He won't want to stay out of a job if he can't persuade Shakespeare and Walsh to come. A new assistant shouldn't be hard to find and if all our scouting is done from statistics then surely he can promote one of Walsh's back room team?
RonnieTodger Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Apparently that twat has been trying to poach the back room. Pearson FOAD http://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive/exclusive-fulhams-pursuit-of-nigel-pearson-hits-snag-over-his-assistants Yeah how dare he want to work with the same team that made him a success!
Nickfosse Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 What I find most puzzling is why, after putting 4 years of your heart and soul into a football club, would you want to leave when you're top of the Premier League to go and work for a team below half way in the Championship that you have no affinity with? That takes loyalty to a man to remarkable levels.
LCFC FOX Posted 22 November 2015 Posted 22 November 2015 Bruno Berner could be his new assistant, he's into coaching. Maybe even persuade Chris Powell.
MC Prussian Posted 22 November 2015 Posted 22 November 2015 What about Bolton Wanderers? Seriously underperforming for a while now, boasting a above-average infrastructure and with a decent squad on paper. How much longer they can justify holding on to Lennon?

Pearson FOAD http://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive/exclusive-fulhams-pursuit-of-nigel-pearson-hits-snag-over-his-assistants So what? He's always worked with them so he's going to want to take them wherever. "Twat" and "FOAD" is very very harsh and undeserved.

Seriously underperforming for a while now, boasting a above-average infrastructure and with a decent squad on paper. How much longer they can justify holding on to Lennon? Apparently they don't have a penny in the bank. If they go into Administration, which appears quite likely in all honesty, they'll have to cut their wage bill down even further and hence may have to sell.
MooseBreath Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Odds on for the Reading job. That'll be a good job for him, if he can make nice with the Thai owners
goose2010 Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 If Pearson is still on gardening leave with us, he can be as picky as he likes as he will still be on full pay. Apparently if Wolves lose at the weekend Jackett will be sacked, could be a good one for Nige

Apparently if Wolves lose at the weekend Jackett will be sacked, could be a good one for Nige If he's not on gardening leave he has been paid off, plus his probable seven figure bonuses for promotion and survival, so either way he's not struggling for money. I think he could do a lot worse than reading if they want him.
My Nads Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 ....or he just isn't interested in the crap clubs he's been linked with.
Guest Col city fan Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 I think Dan is probably right on this. It's too expensive to prise the back room staff away from City. I also think Chairman probably think Pearson is a gamble in terms of his twattish behaviour off the field. Either way, I did think he'd be back in management by now.
Wymsey Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Pearson's hardly 'high-risk', is he. He's done stuff that Mourinho, Wenger etc get away with.
Guest Col city fan Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Pearson's hardly 'high-risk', is he. He's done stuff that Mourinho, Wenger etc get away with. That's what people said at the time And look what happened.
MPH Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Pearson's hardly 'high-risk', is he. He's done stuff that Mourinho, Wenger etc get away with. Dont remember That pair calling a reporter a Pr*ck! But fair play to Pearson, he WAS being a bit of a div..
inckley fox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Dont remember That pair calling a reporter a Pr*ck! But fair play to Pearson, he WAS being a bit of a div.. Don't remember Pearson pushing opposition managers, victimising female members of staff, poking opposition coaches in the eye, encouraging smaller clubs to fire their manager, accusing all football of being in conspiracy against him, nor do I recall his sides averaging over 10 red cards per season (as Wenger's did up to 2005). But he did once call a journalist an ostrich, fall over when someone clattered into him and say 'f**k' in the dugout, which was utterly disgraceful. Thank god we got rid of him before football imploded.
Dan Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Dont remember That pair calling a reporter a Pr*ck! But fair play to Pearson, he WAS being a bit of a div.. You are not seriously claiming Pearson's got a worse behavioural track record than Mourinho?
Matt Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Or Pardew to throw another name into the hat. Aruguably the biggest twat and/or more controversial.
CosbehFox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Or Pardew to throw another name into the hat. Aruguably the biggest twat and/or more controversial. Apparently the hardest to deal with according to the 4th officials

Who cares what bloody Mourinho did? Its what Nigel did that I'm talking about. It lost him his job.
