Dario_Rodriguez_ Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I get that, but the table reflects his predictions in aggregate, and the table doesn't lie. That's where I think it's a little unfair on him regards to us as he's clearly taken the "surely they can't go and win again" attitude as opposed to actually thinking we are a team that should be down there. At the end of the day if predicting football scores was easy we'd all be millionaires.
Matt Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I've noticed Mersons getting into a habit of predicting 2-2 for our games aswell. I know he predicted us to win a lot of games at the end of last season, but this season it's a case of him talking us up then taking that praise away with his predictions.
nnfox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 "Leicester have been riding the crest of a wave and waves fade away" "Kompany is a big loss for man city" "Watford are in danger of stealing Leicester's limelight" He hates us!!! 1-2. Thank you.
Brooksy Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Predicted West Brom to win again. They're 6th in his table, what a helmet
lgfualol Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Obligatory **** off Lawro you shrivelled bellend
urban.spaceman Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 "Leicester have done fantastically but when you are top of the league you are a massive target and we saw that at Anfield on Boxing Day, where the atmosphere was lifted by Leicester's visit. The Foxes have been surfing a wave all season but waves die down eventually. We will have a better indication in a couple of weeks where exactly they can finish. Claudio Ranieri has got every single player in the team playing above themselves. That's what a proper manager can do." There's no need for him to be so bloody arrogant and insulting!

Thank you. Let's shut him up again, come on Leicester
AKCJ Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 There are only two certainties in this world. Lawro will have shit hair and make shit predictions.
filbertway Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 "Leicester have done fantastically but when you are top of the league you are a massive target and we saw that at Anfield on Boxing Day, where the atmosphere was lifted by Leicester's visit. Which part of that is arrogant or insulting?
ian66 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Agreed, quite complimentary in my opinion, maybe that's the point the poster was making?
Number 6 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 To be fair to Lawro this time we are playing Man City and baggies are home to Newcastle. Can forgive him this time.
Tuna Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Hansen did the sensible thing and packed up a few years ago, Lawro's place is on the golf course.
Corky Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Quite confusing today. The list of results at the top of the page says West Ham 0-2 Liverpool but listed as 2-0 in the prediction paragraph, whilst West Brom 1-1 Stoke is 2-0 to West Brom after Lawro's explanation. We're 1-1, by the way.
st albans fox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Lawro has lpool to win at West Ham He hasn't predicted them to lose one game all season He also has newcastes results awry Two clubs he was heavily involved with Stealing a living - no other phrase is relevant. he must have some heavy gossip or compromising photos of the top people in the BBC sports dept.
Dan Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 New year, same Lawro, as he predicts us to drop points at home to a struggler.
Jimothy Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Steve Wilson make more sense in his two lines at the bottom of each game than Lawro does in his long write up
ScouseFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 his united prediction is a good one. 3-0. they've scored 3 goals in 5 league games, only 3 goals at home in the league since september but he thinks they'll suddenly flick a magical switch and become world beaters. even better when you consider swansea have three clean sheets in a row.
Zapp Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 West brom would be 5th on 36 points if his predictions were accurate He has his own biased opinion, where form nor opponents have no influence unless it's 2 of his favourites or 2 he dislikes playing each other. A draw is usually selected. He must have some dirt on some BBC bigwigs
Jordan Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 I don't care about Mark Lawrenson's predictions. What I really want to see is Mark Morrison's predictions.
HighPeakFox Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 Arrogant unthinking dismissive tosspot. And that's just Col...... JOKE
filbertstreet Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 I don't care about Mark Lawrenson's predictions. What I really want to see is Mark Morrison's predictions. Heard his computer was still at the shop getting fixed, I'm sure we'll get some predictions upon the return of the Mac
BigWesMorgan Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 "Everyone will be wondering whether Leicester's bubble has burst after picking up one point and scoring no goals in their last two games."
Foxile Posted 1 January 2016 Posted 1 January 2016 If I was as bad at my job as Lawrenson is at his I'd have been sacked long ago. The man is a doddering football dinosaur who hasn't had an original thought about the game since Bobby Robbo was sane.
