Stevosevic Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 " especially because I cannot see striker Jamie Vardy returning from injury yet." Good thorough research Lawro.
hejammy Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 His prediction on Saturday Vs Villa will be telling - "I can see Villa having a mini revival here and just shading it - 2-1 to Villa" - I will believe that he has completely lost the plot if that happens
Corky Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I can't work out that remark. So we played really well without Vardy but because Vardy won't be available we aren't likely to do anything?
Brooksy Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 His prediction on Saturday Vs Villa will be telling - "I can see Villa having a mini revival here and just shading it - 2-1 to Villa" - I will believe that he has completely lost the plot if that happens Yeah I was thinking that. If he predicts us to fail to beat Villa the blokes clearly on the wind up.
Number 6 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 That's a staggering reason. There are plenty of other ones to say he'd fancy a Spurs win but that's just nonsense. The villa prediction will be interesting.
fuchsntf Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I think you are being nasty and horrible to Mr Lawrenson, hes an ex-top-liverpool marvellous player. Hes gentle and kind, to all things scouse.. We have to be honest, hes the best .....Pr//ck oooops.... I mean dick....no ..Pundit , Crackanory has ever had...

leicesterseddon Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 So basically Tottenham will be "much improved" because their first-teamers will be playing, but we won't see an improvement from bringing our first-choice players back too. Go figure.
My Nads Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 He picked West Ham and us to lose again...is there any point having him predict the scores when he is such a clueless bellend?

He really is the right out leading bar steward, sitting in a BBC chair, his slip up on cocktails or is it cocktales, wrong ingredients, even gabbie didnt know whether to shake it or stir it.

Mike Oxlong Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 The twunt is stealing a living. Obviosly got the brain of a cabbage and the eyesight of Stevie Wonder.
MC Prussian Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Following the Steven Penis incident, it does make you wonder whether he's just getting on a bit. I'm not trying to be facetious or malicious here, but playing as a defender will at one point have an impact on our brain functions. All these headers and collisions can't do no good for your health.

Xen Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Leicester, Watford and West ham all fighting relegation, meanwhile West Brom and Chelsea are top 5, and Liverpool remain undefeated. It's not even as if his predictions have been based on ANY sort of context. 9 times out of 10 it's "team X has done really well recently, but I fancy team Y to stop their poor run in this Game". Infuriating. He may do better than the guests most weeks, but id still wager that their predicted table would be closer to the real thing than his.
MC Prussian Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Best part are still his reasons as to why a team might win or not. They're so vague and sometimes bizarre and thus render his predictions even more hilarious.
john ridley Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Even said he couldn't see us winning as vardys still out injured.
MC Prussian Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 I just had to come back to this thread... “I just think this game will be completely different, though, especially because I cannot see striker Jamie Vardy returning from injury yet. “Tottenham will be much improved with their strongest line-up, and should take the points.” But they didn't.

Legend_in_blue Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 The longer this season goes on, the more and more he comes across as a complete fool. Long may this continue.
foxile5 Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Football dinosaur. He's not had an original thought on football since the mid eighties and he's only in place at the Beeb because he hasn't aired any racist or misogynist views live. I can imagine he's humored in the cafe at Beeb headquarters. 'Shhh, it's Lawro, don't mention passing football or the quality of anyone that isn't Liverpool, you'll set him off.......How about Ian Rush, eh, Mark? And Robbie Fowler, eh? Don't make them like that do they?'
