Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Everton are a fantastic football club and if Gray chooses them good luck to him Hope he chooses us though obviously
Jon the Hat Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Oh Christ. Lets not get silly lads, we would love to have Everton's premier league status in the last decade. Great club. Right now thought Gray has to fancy his chances of playing more games with us, and we can match on wages no doubt.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Some of our fans are getting a bit big for their boots aren't they? Everton are definately bigger than us in the view of everybody except Leicester fans. They also have better players, despite our form in 2015 and their league position. I would imagine it's his attitude that Gray would be creaming himself at the thought of playing with Lukaku, Deulofeu, Barkley, Coleman, Stones, McCarthy, Mori or Galloway. Some decent players... but it's not like we don't have our own currently better performing players.
AKCJ Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I think that Gray needs to look at the respective squads and choose who is likelier to give him game time. Everton have an abundance of players that play as one of the 3 behind Lukaku. We have Albrighton, Mahrez and Schlupp that play on the wing. Although Everton's selling point is a recent trend of turning young Englishmen into full internationals. There isn't much in it but I think I'd have us down as favourites. Especially because we've been after the lad for so long.
weller54 Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 He'll join the Foxes Revolution.. Let Everton wallow in their illustrious past.. Forestesque!
Bayfox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 6/5 in Leicester's favour in a combined XI? Schmeichel Coleman Fuchs Morgan Stones Mahrez Kante Barkley Deulofeu Lukaku Vardy I'd take baines as competition at lb as well. In fact that is a serious side, the goals in that team . Start launching the bids for those everton players.
Bert Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 It'll be confirmed later today and he won't be loaned back to Birmingham.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 It'll be confirmed later today and he won't be loaned back to Birmingham.Nice one BertGood news
Ric Flair Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 It'll be confirmed later today and he won't be loaned back to Birmingham. Spot on! I thought when the news of Lawrence staying at Blackburn was announced that should we get Gray we'd have him straight in the mixer.
Dynamogoon Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 You can't take away from the fact that Everton have history, pedigree and a good following around the world. Some of us are getting slightly ahead of ourselves in some respects, but I also agree that history means nothing to most players when looking to sign. I think the balance of power is starting to shift from these old so called "big" clubs. They have become stale and arrogant. They believe that their reputation from 50 years ago will be enough to gauruntee them a top ten finish and any players they want. Liverpool are the best example, they still believe they are world beaters. We have world class facilities, coaches, sports scientists, lots of money, good support and excellent future prospects. A lot of players will look at us, Watford, Palace, Stoke, Southampton etc. and judge us on merit.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 great news, the boy is such a talent and he will learn a lot from working with Mahrez.
Leicesterpool Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 Everton are a fantastic football club and if Gray chooses them good luck to him Hope he chooses us though obviously Also take into account location wise, going to Everton would mean having relocate to that area. Comes here, he can easily still live in brum. Be a great new addition and will no doubt offer something else on the wing.

Also Everton are one of only two clubs to have been always in the top flight of English football since 1960. That's some achievement. Of course I stand to be corrected but pretty sure that's the case.

weller54 Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 This has to be a contender for shortest transfer thread of recent times? Say that on 31st January when we're on page 99!
