MPH Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 It's probanly a case of us saying " look, all you agents can bugger off. we have identified our targets and we know who their agents are so son't call us, we'll call you....
Ric Flair Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 We might well be kidding ourselves here though, he had no trouble re-iterating he was still after players in the summer. Either way i'm not going to get too worked up by it. If we struggle in the next few games I think his hand will be forced anyway and if we start on the winning train again then fcuk it i'm not arsed anyway. We're in decent nick.
Finnegan Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Wilf Bony wouldn't come here in a month of Sundays but who wouldn't take him over Troy Deeney?! christ.
filbertway Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Wilf Bony wouldn't come here in a month of Sundays but who wouldn't take him over Troy Deeney?! christ. Depends what you want, I'd take Deeney over Ighalo as a partner to Vardy as he links play up brilliantly. Isn't Bony more an out and out striker, so would be in direct competition with Vardy?
Buce Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Deeney is far more mobile than Ulloa Thrac. He doesn't need to be very quick anyway. That's not his game. He's a target man really who uses his strength and his size (unit) to shield it and bring others in. He's also a food finisher. I'd sign Deeney in a heartbeat but it won't happen of course. Ighalo is the one though. Essentially, another GTF then?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Essentially, another GTF then?Oh how I miss GTF . . . . .

SheppyFox Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 He's not an idiot and is actually behind the scenes, trust the man.
ozleicester Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Oh how I miss GTF . . . . . You must be an awful shot
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 A food finisher? No fatties required... Bloody predictive text again!
Jimbo Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 We are aware of just how much bony gets paid a week aren't we? He stalled for sometime over his move to man City because they weren't offering him enough, the same team that hand out 200k per week contracts like it's pocket change to them! Doesn't he get paid something like 100k a week with massive appearance fees? Can you see us seriously paying someone 100k a week????
dbtcity Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 Not saying we will go I for him but his wage is irrelevant, if he wants out and or man city want him out there would be a drop in wages, he's probably already had a massive signing on fee from them and sat on stupid money on the bench plus as he hasn't requested a transfer there would probably be a bonus for that.... if they want him gone they'd probably pay a % of his wage to get him off the books which is something I imagine they have to do with quite a few of there flops
bald reynard Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 John Percy reckons Charlie Austin is a possible target.... I'm amazed that Austin rumours have been absent this Window - for him moving on to someone else, as well as coming to us. We know John Percy is pretty reliable normally. I still think he'd be a good signing - for the sort of money we offered in the summer. He's certainly a better bet than Ulloa.
lcfcbobby Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 All the Austin roumers will come to light after his contract comes to an end at end of the season! He said he wants to finish what he started at QPR!
Ric Flair Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 All the Austin roumers will come to light after his contract comes to an end at end of the season! He said he wants to finish what he started at QPR! What's that then, the square root of fcuk all?

CloudFox Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 He said he wants to finish what he started at QPR! So...his contract then.
Legend fox Posted 13 January 2016 Posted 13 January 2016 So...his contract then. No seeing if he can get them where they belong. Conference ;-)

Vardinio'sCat Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Please splash some cash on a few more new signings because this first half is painful viewing Trust in Claudio.
dpjfox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 we find ourselves in a fantastic position , surely the club wont waste this opportunity and ensure all potential disasters covered (ie kasper gets injured)
thegaffa Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Trust in Claudio. I do trust in CR mate, I just wished we had a player who could calm down our play at times, as we give the ball away far too cheaply sometimes
thegaffa Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 3 points.... Good response! Did u watch the first half? We was lucky to be going in level
Kilworthfox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 There is nothing to be gained by telling the media that you have money to spend. Claudio is just playing the game. Expect some movement.
