Good response! Did u watch the first half? We was lucky to be going in level

even though they had more of the ball (who doesn't against us) and they bossed the first 20 mins I think that we had the better chances in the 1st half, Spurs away is no easy fixture so I don't really no what you expect of us? Have you followed us the last 10 years??? Enjoy where we are and what we're doing

Must admit I am not surprised, we are currently sitting in second place in the PL and I believe CR and the team will want to see just how far the current squad can go. We may strengthen in the summer, as January is notoriously difficult as a buyer, but the type of player I expect us to secure will be young talented hungry players very much in the Gray mould.

What a load of rubbish. Spurs had lots of possession and didn't do much with it in the first half. A few long shots, over hit crosses and some corners.

We defended well and went closest with 2 chances in the half, Drinkwater's volley and the counter from Shinji + Kante. I'm not saying we were great in the first half but neither were spurs. Going in level was fair

lol lol lol lol not many bottom 3 clubs will limit Spurs to a few long range efforts whilst looking dangerous on the counter attack and probably having the better chances ourselves, we're not going to turn up and out play every team we play to our strengths and in all fairness to be sitting on 43 points after 21 games I'd say it's working pretty well

I thought they handled it well in the first half, bit shaky but away at Spurs you'd take that.

Pulled it out the bag in the second half as well, still optimistic we can maintain this position.

I never said I expected us to beat spurs however we have to retain the ball better when we have it.

I haven't followed us for the last 10 years either it's been over the last 30+ years.

Trust me I am enjoying it that's why I want us to iron out some of the issues to keep us progressing.

Agree with you on that.

I do trust in CR mate, I just wished we had a player who could calm down our play at times, as we give the ball away far too cheaply sometimes

I hear you. I think Inler was part of the solution to that, albeit in a 3-5-2, but it hasn't really happened for him.

When I say trust in CR, I'm taking into account that he might be being economical with the truth, at the mo.

lol slightly exgerated but it wasnt great , but  did you go? or watch? ...

I don't think we can complain really that we were , at times, outplayed playing away from home against the team in 4th position in the league.

Being realistic we set up shop to restricted there players from creating chances. Yes it did not look great but it worked and it worked well. We scored a good goal from a set peace and got the 3 points we wanted. # job done

Spurs had all the luck against us in the cup but there luck ran out in the league not let's show them why we are joint top and win again in the cup.

Perhaps the secrecy/denial/closed shop approach is something that the owners insist on as much as Pearson did. Back in for Amartey according to Tanner.

Only we don't have to retain the ball. We just have to stick it in the net.

We seem ok at that part.

Well, the Mercury seems to think we still have irons in the fire, so you're concerns look like they may still be addressed.

If we do go into the market, hopefully it will be for long term targets, like Amertey and Corillo, rather than overpriced desperation signings.
