Swarles Barkley Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 You do get the feeling if a Henderson has a bad game tonight he will still get in the squad for France but if Dier does or Rose for example they won't. agree with rose, perhaps a bit harsh on dier
Fox92 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Never wanted Hodgson as England manager. I know I go on but he's a joke. So defensive. It's a friendly... it's a chance to see what other players can do and yet again he starts with one up front.
Wymsey Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 England need someone who is enthusiastic about taking charge, Hodgson seems to lack style and hunger in the side. Someone like Klopp (obviously he won't now) would be desirable.
Fox92 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Where on earth did all this hype come from for John Stones anyway? Not a regular for Everton, models himself on Sol Bamba and costs his teams goals... but that all doesn't matter because at least he's not hoofing it out like Morgan and Huth. He plays for a manager that wants to play out from the back. Fair play because that's how football should be played but if you want to do that, especially with such a young player, then expect mistakes. The lad is a good footballer and has the potential to go far. Only in England do we knock our upcoming stars after three or four mistakes. He'll learn and he'll turn into a good solid centre half. Our options in defence are woeful. Clyne and Cahill are both overrated. Smalling is literally the best defender we have.
yorkie1999 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Seems a bit strange to hear dont sell knockhaert in german

All he does is run out with it, lose it then get caught out, or pass it a bit and be proclaimed the new Beckenbaur. He is literally just Sol Bamba in disguise.
MC Prussian Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 What a crap move by Butland, caught in the near corner. Oh, dear. Aaand... he's injured. EDIT: Just seen the replay of the actual injury that he sustained before Kroos' shot. Unlucky.
Fox92 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Butland carrying an injury otherwise he would have saved that. Germany have had this game in total control though. Kane has got no chance on his own - get Vardy on and play two up front ffs.
MC Prussian Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Spurs playing Stoke in a couple of weeks... ... and their reserve keeper is Shay Given... ... who is also injured.
Wymsey Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 ... and their reserve keeper is Shay Given... ... who is also injured. They've got a Danish (?) up-and-coming youngster.
Spiritwalker Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Honestly if your under 10's keeper injured himself then instead of kicking it out he played on and gave the ball to the opposition who promptly scored you find it hard to take.
BlueSi13 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Incredibly naive from Butland, you're a keeper lad, go down and the referee stops the match. Don't try to be a hero and soldier on because that is what happens.
PAULCFC Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Keep thinking i'm watching the Czeck Rep with that kit.
lee7 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 How the pundits are not slamming Butland for that I do not know. He's a keeper and injured. Do the sensible thing, kick it out of play and get treated. If he kicks that out and goes off injured we'd more than likely still be going into the break all square right now.
BoyJones Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Incredibly naive from Butland, you're a keeper lad, go down and the referee stops the match. Don't try to be a hero and soldier on because that is what happens. Fully agree. Just thinking of himself, not the team or supporters. No sympathy for the idiot, unprofessional in the extreme.
BoyJones Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 To be fair, Alli looks right at home, head and shoulders above the rest. Welbeck doing ok, but Henderson just showed his lack of class. Then they go down and score. Miss easy chances at this level, they normally come back to haunt you.
Fox92 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 No surprise Cahill is nowhere near Gomez. He's so shit. Hodgson no subs either. He's an idiot. It's a friendly, change it around a bit.
