I just noticed that he was included in the February update of our official registered Premier League first team squad (http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/feb/020216-2015-2016-premier-league-squads-announced.html)

But has anyone actually seen him play? Does he look good enough for the first team? He's 23 now, and without meaning to sound disrespectful, if he hasn't broken into the first team squad by now, He never will. So is there really any point in holding on to him any longer?

I would suggest that at 23 he should be good enough to play or even play as a loanee in the Championship but obviously not.

My point exactly, so why is he still here? From my limited experiences of seeing him play for the u-21's and out on loan, i would probably say he's League One standard at best. It just doesn't make any sense for him to still be here

As you say he'll never break into the first team if he hasn't now. Has he ever made it to the bench? I guess it took vardy until he was 25 to get his chance, but even still I can't see him pushing his way through with the options we have now. If he has any ambition he will leave to get regular football and build his way up the leagues

More importantly if Hamer is now Registered he should surely be on the bench?

Imagine if Kasper got injure away at Chelsea when we need a win, we're one nil up and old Schwarzer comes on....

My mate is a Cambridge fan and watched him during his loan spell, he says he's absolute wank. A lot of their fans don't even think he's League 2 standard.

Probably on relatively low wages, and good to keep a few familiar faces in the reserves to help the youngsters develop.

Never going to make it here though, and I'd imagine he'll leave on a free to somewhere like Northampton once his contract expires. I'd expect the same from a few others who are never likely to make the step up (Panayiotu springs to mind).

By which time we'll have a fresh batch of youngsters - some in the first team, some who have moved on and a few more to stick around and keep the consistency in the youth ranks.

Why isn't Ulloa Jose Fernadez? sounds loads better, or Leonardo Fernadez that's pretty kick ass.

I think we want the ancient bloke in that situation. He's seen it all; can't faze him.

He was born a few years before Oasis became famous so I doubt it.
