Finnegan Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Fabric is north of the river. It's also garbage.
Nalis Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Palace might actually do enough to stay up by being shit but beating teams who are on a shit run of form.
foxfanazer Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 West Ham, Stoke amd Sunderland for the drop would be brilliant
Sharpe's Fox Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Two four nils (could be more) in a row deary me. Mark Hughes will be gone in the international break with another defeat I reckon.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Stoke are an absolute shambles. I think that's 7 of their last 11 league games in which they've conceded 4 or more. Sadly we don't play them for ages.

Just as we get into a run, settling into league football, there is another international break. Thank fuck this one coming up is the one for a while is it not, or do we have stop again in November aswell? Wish they'd fuck off, they just get in the way.
foxfanazer Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Just had a peek on the oatcake Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of fans
foxes_rule1978 Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 just got up and saw the Man U result well done Watford they look really good... Stoke are a shambles, don't think I remember too many teams that get rolled over like they have so often. I think we will beat Man U on Saturday

Donut Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 The thing with Stoke is like i said last week, they have moved too far in the other direction with too many airy fairy alright-ish technical players like Bojan, Shaqiri etc. These are the sort of players that might do something neat one game in four and flat track bully someone one week when their tails are up but you look across the tunnel and you used to see a massive unit of a team, you now see a load of half arsed little dweebs in the Stoke team. Thats why the typical "Stoke away" aura has gone. Stoke away isnt a hard away game these days. They get slapped for 3 or 4 regularly. Theyre not tough to beat most weeks. Its ironic that two of their "better" players are from the throwback Pulis era for me, Shawcross and Walters. Both are committed and solid and if they had a better balance, theyd be ok. It also shows that for all we poke fun at him, Pulis is pound for pound an excellent manager. His football might not be easy to watch, but look what he has to work with. Its never going to be. When he managed Stoke, Palace, and now West Brom, do you see his teams regularly getting battered? Absolutely not. So with what he has to work with, he grinds out regular results. EDIT: Forget "alright-ish", Bojan, Shaqiri, Bony, Joselu (did they sell him? even if they did, when he was there), are all shit. Theyve been sold from good teams because they are shit. Arnaoutovic can be good when he can be bothered. Which is not often.
Foxxed Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 I can't decide if this is going to make United hungrier for a win or not. Whatever. I wouldn't say no to another couple of Slimani headers.

Just had a look, there is another one in November aswell. Start, stop, start, stop... Thank fuck the November one is the last one for a few months though!

He's always had money, he's always spent it on experienced players rather than bringing in younger players and nurturing them. Can you remember the last youngster to make the first team at Stoke? Ryan Shotton who was quickly gotten rid of and that was a few years ago. Anyone else? Andy Wilkinson about 5 years previously? Players don't seem to improve under him either, when was the last time a Stoke player was poached by a so called bigger team? Remember when he was at QPR and he brought in Park, Bosingwa, Barton, Cisse, Wright-Phillips, Onuaha, Julio Cesar...all looked great signings on paper but what about the attitude? They were relegated by Christmas and Hughes was sacked long before that. That whole episode seems to have been airbrushed from history. Stoke are beginning to look a miror image of that QPR team. The way Stoke rollled over against Spurs during the run-in last season and Hughes' post-match comments that it was an honour and privilege to lose to such an amazing side surely rubber stamped him as a fraud, no?
AjcW Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 There's few thinks I enjoy more in life than watching that utter turd Hughes fail miserably. Disposable man, I can only hope he gets sacked before we have to listen to his moany excuses again.
Corky Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 He might've left a while ago but Stoke are massively missing Huth. They look disorganised and with no clue how to deal with corners and free-kicks now they can't grapple and block opponents. Stoke look a bit like us 15 years ago- going really well, tail off badly towards the end of the season and start appallingly the next year. How you end the season is so crucial.
