A mate on Facebook posted a status about some Kante comments, but didn't quote him. Curious I searched twitter and found that. Not actually seen him say it, but nothing to suggest it's made up.

Don't think so. He is hardly an outspoken kinda guy. This would be all over Football headlines too. Fake. I really do hope he one day regrets his decision to leave us though. Whether that's through Chelsea doing crap or him getting dropped and knowing he would be a superstar for us!

HighPeakFox Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 If it were real, I think we'd be hearing an awful lot about it, from a greater number of sources.
ealingfox Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 As if he'd come out with something like that. Do hope he hates it there tho.

Danizen Posted 18 September 2016 Posted 18 September 2016 Where does this idea of Rooney as a CM come from? He has no positional sense, he can't pass, can't tackle and he dawdles on the ball trying to make it all about him. Before people saw him as a CM, they saw him as a number 10 which is just as nonsensical. He cut off the midfield from the attack, he was too slow, lacking skull and wouldn't stay in position. He was only ever good as a number 9 and that's going back about 5-6 years, now.

Guest Col city fan Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 I wouldn't have Kante back. He was brilliant for us and I've never slated him for leaving. Not once. But he nailed his colours to the mast, got out of the club when he could have stayed so we move forwards, not back. You don't bite the hand that feeds then expect to come crawling back when you find the grass ain't greener. Fook that.
lgfualol Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Hahah Kante. It would be hilarious if we ended up finishing above Chelsea.

I also think if he returned now he would piss off a few people. Also perhaps destroy our atmosphere within the team. He has gone and I wish some people would get over it. We don't need a new Kante we need Amarty or Mendy to step up and boss it their way.
Webbo Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 I think people are letting their imagination run away with them. Has Kante asked to come back? Would he be short of offers if he decided (no evidence that he wants to) to leave Chelsea?
Kitchandro Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Man Utd lacking width, a playmaker and a plan - Danny Murphyhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37403310 So Danny Murphy assesses why the midfield isn't working, yet no mention of Rooney The bias towards him from pundits is staggering. The FA have banned criticism of him, surely?
jammie82uk Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Rooney's passing yesterday: Passes played 40 Completed 33 Sideways 12 Backwards 15 Successful balls forward: 6 but united fans are happy with the 82.5% pass completion
les-tah Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 Hope rooney starts against us. Theres no light at the end of the tunnel until Man u/England drop the fuccka
Merging Cultures Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 I am loving the Man U melt down. Mourinho says the players aren't handling the pressure then calls out Shaw. Probably not the best way to help your players deal with pressure.

foxy boxing Posted 19 September 2016 Posted 19 September 2016 mourinho's confrontational management style just doesn't work anymore it just put's players off and they eventually tune out and he becomes white noise, he needs to find a new way to motivate players apart from having a go at them either in public or private
