foxfanazer Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 When you look back at this season what will be your one defining memory? Doesn't have to be something that happened on the pitch. For me it's my cousin turning up at my door yesterday to join the celebrations. He lives in New Zealand and he just turned up totally out of the blue. Awesome day On the pitch has to be the Man City game for me. We were unreal that day and 3-1 didn't do us justice. Mahrez ruined Otamemdi and Demechelis
kingcarr21 Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Hugging my brother when the final whistle went at Chelsea vs Spurs. My kids stayed up with us to watch it. Even my daughter was celebrating and she hates football. I saw her celebrate and it gave me that glimmer of hope that as she grows up she may actually start to like and follow football
Babylon Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Mahrez at Man City... the way the whole pub look at each other and disbelief. You could sense the "shit... we might actually be in with a shot".
Webbo Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Feeling physically sick in the build up to Tottenham away. It was the only game I felt that way. Deep down I sort of felt that would be the defining game of the season.
GaelicFox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Taking home a Dinosaur after the Everton game , stinks of cheese but !
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 When we got the penalty against West Ham. That whole game had the feeling of 'oh shite we're going to do a Leicester and throw it all away', then that happens and everything seemed OK again.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Man City away. To go to the Etihad and win 1-3 made me believe this title could be ours. We were sensational that day.
stevelcfc Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Everton, almost forget that a game even happened with everything that was going on. Could and should have won by 8 or 9.
Countryfox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Definitely Man City game ... when Huth got the third ..... slight glow started somewhere inside me like when ET wasn't really dead.
norwichfox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 The moment I woke up to realise that it was all true was Watching Morgan lift the trophy (sadly on TV, would love to have been there)
Danizen Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Having the kind of freak out that would make an American teenaged girl proud during the Sunderland game. That's the game where it suddenly became real and after eight months of dismissing it, the emotions kicked in. Obviously, not helped by Claudio's tears.
Guest MattP Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 The minute or so between Vardy rounding the keeper and the full time whistle at Sunderland, it was when I realised we were actually going to win it.
4ever and ever Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Outside the ground at the Etihad. Waiting for a mate and the look on everyones face was priceless. Disbelief and then realisation that this could happen!!
harpendenfox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 A little moment when Vards scored the second at Sunderland. My son and I exchanged a glance. No words spoken, but we were both thinking 'we're doing this'
Guest Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Dunno if it's the moment that will always make me think of this season but it will always make me laugh
Unabomber Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Probably watching the city game in a pub in Dublin all the neutrals going mad when we scored and everyone realising we could actually do it.
Fox42 Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 As what most have said, Man City away when Huth got the third. You know that scene in some films and shows where everyone around you is celebrating for some reason whereas you're just sitting there, still, with no expression, just staring gormlessly at the middle distance with the background noise being muted with some emotional piano riff at the background. That's what it felt like for a second or two. I felt my mind swelling with what was just going on.
Houdini Logic Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 So many little things defined this season for me. Even down to things like our formation from opposition's corners...
surrifox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 I had no idea what to expect from this season and was driving home from holiday and can remember every update from the Sunderland match where exactly I was when our goals (and theirs) went in
ousefox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Although Huth's goal against spurs is when I first had a feeling we would do it, Man City away was one of the most incredible performances I've seen from a city side away from home. That's when I knew there was a very good chance we'd do it.
Mythyaar Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 Norwich earthquake....the sheer relief at the time...and then the realisation sinking in after that we could actually achieve the impossible.
