We all know the fundamentals of England are wrong and that won't change unless we have a massive clear out of the FA. England were crap last night against a Russia side that offered nothing, they have nowhere near the team chemistry that Wales have, that's why they'll beat us on Thursday.

But we played alright and dominated the game. No way Russia deserved that draw but cest la vie. The players performance was encouraging, much better than I thought we'd be, we actually dominated the game and should have put it to bed. owl face on the other hand after getting a reasonable xi out lost the plot with the subs. I know we are winning Roy, that doesn't mean bringing on a quick striker instead at attempting to shut the game down (and failing) is the wrong thing to do. Game was crying out for vardy or rashford
Matt Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 I'd have looked at Carroll aswell, people will laugh I know, but i'd rather have took him than the lazy, sicknote that is Sturridge. (I realise Carroll has also had his fair share of injuries aswell, but the lazy point still sticks regards Sturridge)

Hodgson for me is the worst England manager possibly ever, especially when it comes to tactics or the ability to change a game, every manager in this tournament is better than this idiot. He hasn't even taken the right players to the tournament! he has limited his ability to change things and add width when required by only bringing one winger. It is wrong and crazy that this guy is in charge. The FA is clueless so therefore we are stuck until that changes, Wales are a team and have a better manager than what we do. If we beat Wales it will only be down to the individual quality we do have on the pitch, not because of this idiot.

We played well on the whole and if Vardy had been through the middle we'd have won. Kane was utterly invisible. But Woy will persist because he is a clueless moron. I detest Rooney with a passion, but he played well. Can see two more draws on the cards when we should be destroying our opposition.

Game was crying out for vardy or rashford i know the players dominated its just the corner issue really, if hodgson said, "harry, you take the corners" then why didnt he or someone else say " hang on boss, we need our 25 goal striker in the box"

I do think we will need to look abroad to get a replacement as I can't see any of our Prem or championship managers leaving their clubs. Anyone know when Roy's contract is up?
