Richmondfox Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Would be a waste if Man Utd will buy him, he'll spend the season coming on for a few minutes when they are comfy. They spent 50M+ on Martial who they play out wide and have a young academy wonderkid in Rashford. Not that Jose will care but he will have a lot of big players to keep happy this season and a lot of young players that will be missing out on developing. He might have his head turned by such a big club but will he get a chance to play? Where would he play for us as we'll have to drop one of Vardy/Musa/Shinji? I've not seen him play.
ARM1968 Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Sign him for god sake. Money in the bank long term. Think big and I'm not talking wages here.
sylofox Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 I think this one will prove we need to get in and get the job done asap.

BigWesMorgan Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Would be pissed if he went Man U. Not like he's gonna start over Ibra or Martial
Maybes Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Not matter how much we kid ourselves, we can't really compete with the likes of United and Mourinho in terms of attractiveness of the club. Yes we are in the CL. Yanited is Yanited. Worldwide elite.
chapero82 Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Well he won't want to come here then as according to Rabieri we will never compete for titles
Callabinho Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 We're probably not even in for him. It would be nice for us to actually go for a world class player now we're in the champions league. But I think we're kidding ourselves if we believe that will happen.
desertfox2 Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 This is a by all means necessary, get it done transfer. 23 Mil considering some of the crazy transfer fees going around is worth it and a good investment unless it really goes tits up but with his stats about as close to a cert as you can get.
cc_star Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 This has Jasper Blomqvist written all over it We're at a next level crossroads, we've either take the opportunities our title win might bring us, or we don't and we aspire to simply avoid relegation

Just black or white.

Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Didnt someone (Maybe Rob Tanner) say not too long ago that there was no truth in our interest?

Nick Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Well apparently we have made a formal bid of £21 million notes. So has Inter but he's not keen on going there and that little Spanish team called Athletico have only offered £17 million and Man U have not bid at all..... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/700875/Manchester-United-Not-Interested-Gabriel-Barbosa-Agent-Wagner-Ribeiro-Santos
Lesteban Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 If he is faced with a choice between us, Inter and Atletico, surely he will be off to Madrid. We can probably only trump them with massive money, even then it might not be enough.
Stevosevic Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 If he has any sense he'll go to Madrid - they develop strikers well there and compete for major honours.
desertfox2 Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Yeah agree with the Athletico comments if they have bid then he will probaby choose them. Shows us what we are missing if they are in for him as they seems to churn out world class strikers
J.Lisemore Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Would be surprised if he ended up here, it's always a massive drama between agent fees and Brazilian based players. But hey ho, someone will pay up in the end, hopefully it's us. If we're even interested
st albans fox Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Think He would only come here if he was guaranteed a starting place and had an advantageous release clause. Claudio doesn't do guarantees.
