Just that he's negotiating with them first. He might go to Italy then come to us and that might persuade us to offer a Little bit more? or yeah, you're right, we are buggered... ian_marshall Posted 26 August 2016 Share Posted 26 August 2016 Smart negotiation tactic. Calls us and Atletico out to offer him a ridiculous contract, and if neither of us do he hasn't burnt his bridges in Italy. Also puts him in a pretty strong negotiating position in the sense that Inter who are probably the worst of the 4 clubs currently interested, will have to offer silly money to convince him to move, therefore any of the other clubs interested will at least need to match the offer. I think there's plenty more twists and turns regarding this transfer.

Or an hour away closer to London and employ a cousin as a driver for £50,000 a year to drive you up and down the motorway.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this thread 99.9% of players don't live in the City. They live in the area surrounding Lake Como. Pretty sure nobody will be calling that place 'overrated'. Leicester were unlucky here because the new owners at Inter are desperate to make a splash. Missed out on Gabriel Jesus so moved onto this guy. Many of these footballer chaps are quite sophisticated!!!

Not many big cities that don't have big sections that are shitholes. Sure most players particularly those with families live in small villages out of town anyway for a bit of privacy. Can't see this happening it's always difficult signing South American players even more when they have an agent pimping them out to every club in europe. Best we try and close out Nzonzi slimani and boufel. Which are all more likely
