Nod.E Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Can't see us scoring less than 2 or conceding more than 1. My money is on the away win.

Fuchs is a must in the starting 11, and we must play the strongest 11 for me, so would have musa and vardy up top. Fancy us to win, but it's time now to play the strongest 11 and find some form and consistency
smudge_lcfc89 Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Spare ticket going in the Hull end for any travelling without a ticket. Paid £27, willing to sell for £20. Can meet on the day - get in touch if interested
Stevosevic Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Huddlestone at CB.... It would actually be embarrassing if we don't win this - which sounds ridiculous for an opening day premier league away game

Has Jeff got in your head?

Bear in mind that Chilwell also played in the England 21s over the summer too. Think theyre both as fresh as eachother and I won't accept the argument that Chilwell is first choice (not that thats what you're saying). Agree we should give Chilwell a go this year but Fuchs is so good at what he does, had a good game at Wembley and its important to keep a consistent back 4 (as proved last year).

Nalis Posted 9 August 2016 Posted 9 August 2016 Kasper Simpson Morgan Was (havent seen Hernandez play CB so dont know what he's like there) Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Mendy Gray Musa Vardy Gray is lacking defensively a bit against the bigger teams and leaves Fuchs too exposed but he can rip the smaller teams apart.

Guest Cujek Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 Must win. I am more interested in what team they put out than us.
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 The Hull situation: http://dailym.ai/2b81WFr 1 fit defender!?!
the fox Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 for the people that are calling for mahrez to be dropped. i will not defend him are criticize you. i will just say that CR is not stupid. because #1. mahrez always scored in away games #2. CR spent about a month repeating this to mahrez and the media. over and over and over and over again "i always tell mahrez. stay with us. on other teams there is competition. but here your spot is locked" not an exact quote but is close enough. so are you telling me you are trying to keep a player by telling him you are a garanteed starter. then you bench him in the first game. that is just stupid
brucey Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2016/08/things-we-think-we-think-232/ A sad read from a Hull City fan blog. Also their owners are apparently in the middle of new takeover talks?
leicesterseddon Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 My preferred XI: Kasper Simpson Morgan (c) Hernandez Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Mendy Gray Musa Vardy What I think CR will start with (probably correctly ): Kasper Simpson Morgan (c) Was Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Mendy Albrighton Okazaki Vardy
TheStig Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 I certainly hope that Ranieri has prepared the team for Hull. We could very well underestimate them and their being underdogs will no doubt make them fight us all the way. Potential "bananaskin" but these days should be over for us by now. - or?

I agree this match is a potential "banana skin" but Claudio and his selection will approach it with professionalism and a determination to carry on where they left off last season. Hull City 0 Leicester City 2
jit Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 Kasper Hernandez Morgan Was Fuchs Mahrez Mendy Drinkwater Gray Musa Vardy Subs: Zieler, Simpson, Albrighton, King, Schlupp, Ulloa, Okazaki Hull Tigers 0:3 Leicester City Goal scorers: Vardy 07, Mahrez 42 (pen) & Musa 67
brucey Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 Reading that article, seems they are fine in the attacking department, but terrible defensively. They'll probably try to come out guns blazing aiming for an early goal, then have everyone completely sit back if they get it. Also their team spirit is probably stronger than any other team's at the moment, including ours.
