John Percy is the best jouno on Leicester - knows more of what's going on than most. Think this story is a couple of days behind and a bit of progress has been made.

Does he still always look really peeved off when he plays?

Looked a right sarky git at Stoke, didnt often show in cards it just makes me consider his mentality.

We've wanted him for a while now too, linked last summer when we all thought he was too big to come here

This place. ****ing hell.

I don't normally do the ranting about experience in the premier league, etc. But are there people really unhappy we'd spend twenty odd million on Nzonzi but want us to pay twenty odd million for one of two largely untried kids in Lemina and Paredes?

Seriously?

I no crazy i bet half of them haven't even saw the other 2 play nzonzi is proven shouldn't need time to settle in the premier league  is perfect and is the 1 player out of any realistic targets i would choose pay the money

N'gerrimin.

However, am I recalling incorrectly that he can be a bit of sourpuss? Making him our largest transfer fee ever, might be mildly dangerous? Not against him coming in, just a little worried about any boatrockers.

So whats happened in the 6 pages? Just people saying "YEAH DO IT" over and over again or have we made a bid of sorts?

Would be a good signing, exactly the sort of player we need.

That and a load of GERRIMIN basically....

John Percy reported that we are interested and may make a bid of 25m before the window closes.

And you've pretty much said 'yeah do it' in your post...

I do think we should do it. I was just wondering if we'd made a bid or something.

Just playing! I'd put money on a bid coming in within the next 24 hours, especially if Mendy is out for 3-6 weeks (according to Mightyfin)

The Sun have an article on the size of clubs this season, we are just above Arsenal in terms of height and weight, with Man City bottom in both. We are not as technically gifted as these teams, and rely on speed. But, as you know from my 'Height, height, height' thread, I feel we need some big guys in, with the speed merchants playing off them. N'zonzi would be ideal in my opinion. And I think we all know we need a big striker too to take over from Ulloa.

In a rapidly inflating market it's important to just pay up, just like when buying a house. I remember paying what I thought was over the odds, but it doubled in value in 4 years and in hindsight seemed cheap.

If this is the right fit just bite the bullet.

It's a lotta dosh. And I can't ever say I thought he was in that kind of price bracket. In fact, I don't think he ever even caught my eye. Still, transfers have gone a bit bonkers again so I guess  what the hell.

If we sign him and he turns out to be the man for the job then I won't care a jot what we paid for him.

Yes would be good, but King would be further down pecking order?

4th choice still probably. He'd still play a lot if we do switch to 433 some games.

Full of people asking what's happened ;)

He played for Stoke down here the season before last and ran the show to such an extent that in my opinion it was the best  proper midfielders display at the KP that season. In a 4-4-2 which we and others have proved wins leagues more than the poncey 4-2-3-1 he is a fit, like a young Ya Ya. Should be no1 target.
