He presented himself as a so called in the know and couldn't handle it when he was questioned. So he cried and ran away. The fact he stormed off in a huff and posted '...this is my last post etc...' suggests he was only doing it for his own gratification.

Own gratification or not, he still provided info that most on here wanted.

Pretty sure his last post was that Schlupp to WBA was a done deal and that Spurs Scout was also done weeks ago too...  So not sure he is always that accurate to be fair but still seemed to get more right than wrong. Whether he was just a really good guesser on the rumours, or genuinely had some inside info. Shame if gone as was always a poster I looked for to add fuel to a solid rumour!

Tbf on that one it did seem Jeff was gone then a change of heart last minute

In all seriousness though, would we shell out for both N'Zonzi and Slimani? If so, who would be the higher priority....I kinda think N'Zonzi is, I worry about our midfield a lot.

Sevilla lost Krychowiak and are set to lose Iborra. They aren't going to let any more defensive midfielders go especially with the amount of games they have this season. Sevilla also conceded 4 last weekend so I imagine their manager would like to keep the defensive minded players to tighten the defensive up.They won't sell unless they have a replacement. Yes we can pay the release clause but the player will then have to agree to leaving which is very unlikely with N'zonzi because he is settled there. My gut feeling is that this deal is smokescreen for another deal.

Yet media have reported Nzonzi wants a move back to the prem.... Bid the €25m... Get the man imo

Got no choice if we meet the release clause and he wants to come.

Because it's so late in the window, they can bring up a few complexities and it won't get done in time.

If if we have already got a fair way down the tracks then it's different

Only complexities would be refusing to allow us to pay in installments, other than that there's little else they can do.

You reckon?  I bet there are plenty of delaying tactics that would get rid of the last 48 hours

In terms of transfer fees, I think we have only a net spend of circa £4mill so I would like us to get this done.  He'd be keen seeing our CL draw and we do need some more presence this season.

Nah, We just send in Was undercover to get the job done. Even the owners don't know these operations go on, often right under their nose. Well, undercarriage.....
