Just think lcfc haven't been very fair to a guy who on the whole has been simply superb for them. After the Porto, many of a player who have lost their temper. He's paid his market value, just like I am for my role and level of experience in my occupation - he doesn't dictate the going rate. He just genuinely wants to play football rather than do nothing - wants to get off wage bill for doing nothing in effect. These smaller clubs in Spain won't pay £5-6m for a 30 year old squad player. They don't have the money for that. This is different to Palace paying us £12.5m for a squad player. Your right he does deserve a move as he is down the pecking order but we don't "owe" him anything. If nobody meets what we value him at, we shouldn't go out of our way to sell him. Having said that we are in a situation where we are missing a few players for afcon so unfortunately gotta cover our arses. When he's been on the park this season he's been bang average at best. That for 2 million a year - now that's unfair!!! No hard feelings, but his level of performance can be replaced.
