lgfualol Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 No more Vardy and Okazaki please. Okazaki offers absolutely nothing. Play King there instead, at least he can pass and shoot.
CKB Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Let's see how this works for Direby? It's a 4-4-1-1/4-4-2. On paper that's a capable side, just depends on motivation! Kasper Simpson (only gets in because no cover) Benny Huth Chilwell Albrighton Ndidi King Gray Okazaki Musa Subs: Zieler, Vardy, Fuchs, Mendy, Was, Kaputska, James
The Guvnor Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Cue a David Nugent hat-trick, you just know it will happen.
Vocey Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Do we know if the Algerian boys will be back for Friday? (If they go out tonight of course) I'm guessing not, we have to go strong in this match, a loss and Claudio is in trouble. Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Chilwell Albrighton Ndidi Drinkwater Gray Okazaki Vardy. almost a 'back to basics' side

I'd play King over Okazaki and maybe give Musa a go up top
StriderHiryu Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 I think we will win this as the pressure will be off. The best possible outcome is that it's a feisty match that makes the players remember they need to fight! The Burnley game is more important, even though I can't see us getting anything from it given current performances.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Chilwell in at left back, no real options to change the rest of the defence. Drinkwater and Ndidi with Albrighton and Musa on the wings, and Gray alongisde Vardy. Attack them with direct running. Musa looks shit a lot of the team but he is a goal threat, something no-one else appears to be at the minute.
foxes21 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Drinkwater, Huth, Fuchs, Simpson all seriously need a rest. Drinkwater especially. Ndidi has played RB before: Kasper Ndidi, Morgan, Benalouane, Chilwell Albrighton, James, Mendy, Musa King Vardy
weller54 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 We'll get beat I think... Confidence is shot! 2-1 to the sheep!
Detroit Blues Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 I think I'd go back to the 4-4-2 Kasper Chilwell Huth Hernandez Simpson Gray Mendy or Ndidi Drinkwater Albrighton Okazaki Musa
SemperEadem Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 We really need a backs to the wall vocal away end. Southampton was painstakingly quiet.

I suspect the reason he looks jaded is because he wants out.
LFEFox23 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Chilwell Albrighton Drinky Ndidi Gray Vardy Okazaki Back to Basics!
filbertway Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Would be pretty disappointed if we didn't win this, Derby look pretty poor this year. Regardless of how bad we've been there's no way we should lose this. If we can't win this, or at least play well and dominate the game, then I'd be happy for Ranieri to be off as it'd be the clearest possible sign that he's done here.

I've got hopes with it being Friday night, 5000(+) of us and it's playing Derby. Very excited. (But I can't remember the last time I was in the away end and thought "wow we sound great". Probably Brugge.)
L1wood Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Does anyone know if extra trains are being run to get city fans home as only 1 train departs after the full time whistle
Guest Danny Clender Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 I hope Algeria lose tonight. (Sorry Algeria fans, we need them back and you should have played better, get over it) I hope Slim and Mahrez report back to training immediately. I hope at least Slimani plays on friday night. I hope he scores a few. I hope he will be called Ram Slayer from then on. I genuinely believe if Algeria are knocked out, they'll both go straight into the team.
RonnieTodger Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 As depressing as it sounds, other than putting Chilwell in, I wouldn't change the defence. 2-0 defeat.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Kasper Simpson Benny Huth Chilwell Albrighton Ndidi Drinkwater Gray Leo Vardy
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 I genuinely do fancy the sheep's chances on Friday. I think we'll lose.

Dickov22 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 442 and praying either Leo is fit or Slimani is available. Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Chilwell Albrighton Ndidi Drinkwater Gray Ulloa / Slimani Vardy I don't want Musa or Okazaki anywhere near the team personally

Although the 2 denied penalties vs Arsenal earlier in the season do come to mind. Pleased it's not Craig Pawson or Mike Dean anyway
