Negative, boring, whining b@*****ds on here. Get a grip! You've got no knowledge of this guy. Let's wait and see! From YouTube he looks fast, powerful, tall and rangey. He's playing recently at a decent level, in a country where defences rule. He's only 25. He's just back from the Afcon. The fact that he will provide further compitition with Huth and Morgan, will help. It was obvious that Benny, Was and Hernandez couldn't do that due to injury, age and being sh*te respectively.

Many could see in the summer we needed to sign a good CB though... we should have done it back then and if it has only taken until now for the club to realise that then we should have prepared to pay over market value because we are desperate

True - we definitetly need one or more likely two.  Trouble is who?  We need quality

Not overly impressed but then I wasn't overly impressed when we signed someone called Muzzy Izzet on loan for the rest of the season. Maybe this guy will turn out to be ok we must at least give him a chance.

WAG-OO-EY id have gone for either way its a fun signing

Regardless of what it is, this is how I'm always going to pronounce it.

I'm going to shout it when he scores a brace against Derby, maims Will Hughes and becomes an instant cult hero.

Can't say I'm particularly inspired but then I know nowt and he could turn out to be a Matty Elliot or a Brian Carey. Anyway, all things considered, I'm wondering if our player recruitment department enjoyed their January winter break?

That`s embarrassing.. What`s going on in our transfer market...  We will sign him tomorrow and thats everything in this window

Palace Hull are busy at the moment and we are doing absolutely nothing, We need someone like Ivanowic who was available on free transfer and can play CB and RB. Another shit window

25 years of age, hasn't played a 100 league games? Strange?

Benalouane is almost 30 and hasn't played 150, braindead transfer policy but least this one isn't costing 5.6 million

I accept this argument (the principle behind it anyway) but would also say that our recent transfer business would suggest this is going to be a total failure. Not to mention we've clearly struggled to bring players in and are now having to do something at the last second.

Would love to be wrong though.

So I'm late to this but we've signed somebody and already nobody knows anything about him, yet he's rubbish, right? Is that a new record for foxestalk tolerance levels?

Last time a player felt as strange as this, it was Luigi Glombard.

I get the feeling Vichai will be attending the end of season appraisals himself this year. Lot of discussions to be had if this does work.

even though it seems we were linked in the Pearson/Walsh period ?

granted we should probably be looking at a slightly better standard of player than when we were promoted

Mollarance levels.

Good headline if he makes a successful debut?

I hope he is bloody good, our track record of late especially with these unknown defenders isn't exactly the best... the last good CB we bought was Huth and that was under Pearson. Everyone else have been complete nightmares

Not Adda Djeziri or Marco Ferreira? Or even Hossein Kaebi?

I share your concerns. To be honest I've never heard of this guy and know nothing about him. Transfers are always a gamble. I remember being excited when we broke our transfer record and signed Roger Davies for 300K from Bruge and he turned out to be terrible. Let's see what he's like, at least he appears to want to come here. Personally at this moment the whole management of the club seems to stink and questiones really need to be asked though I doubt we would get any real answers.
