No one is suggesting match fixing. More that players just couldnt be arsed anymore. If you ever been in a job you hate youd understand its harder to get up for it. I've had more than one person at the club tell me they thank their lucky stars for Christian Fuchs because of everything he and his wife do for the club. Sure, the performances haven't been great but, c'mon, "turned into a mardy cvnt"? The man loves this club.
surrifox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 I don't think (although I'm not certain) that people wanted our entire back four in the bin . My own view was that I just wanted them to stop being shit and stop giving Kasper no cover whilst we stood deeper and deeper inviting sides on to us . Fuchs is such a gifted footballer great with either foot and brave in the tackle as well as being (generally) astute and with good positional sense - having him back to something half decent will serve us well through the remainder of the season
Izzy Posted 26 April 2017 Author Posted 26 April 2017 My love for Fuchs knows no bounds. I'm in my mid forties, married for 20 years with 2 kids, but I'm starting to think that I may actually be in love with our Austrian legend. What he did to Sanchez with that throw in tonight was inspired. Instinctive, clever, funny and well deserved. No other Leicester player I know would have had the nads to do that. What a class act Fuchs is. Even though we lost, that moment when he owned Sanchez and showed him who's boss will live with me for a long time. When Fuchs eventually does leave us it will be a very sad day in our history. One of the greatest signings we've ever made for me...
Charl91 Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 "Class Act" sums him up really. Class player, class person. Agree with that, one of our greatest ever signings.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 Wish he'd hit him in the face rather than the shoulder though

Dan Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 Great stuff from him tonight. Only disappointment was he didn't actually get him in the face and cause him some more injury. Was totally right to do what he did as well.

I made a gif of the incident and if we looked carefuly the ball appears to hit Sanchez's face, he deserve it, love Fuchs too he's a legend.
brucey Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 Fuchs took aim perfectly. Just low enough to make it appear like a bounce off the shoulder, yet still getting him in the face via ricochet. If he had aimed straight at the face that would have been a second yellow no doubt, and losing Fuchs to suspension for our crucial run-in wouldn't have quite been worth the amusement of a broken Sanchez nose.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 Looked like Fuchs got away with one there. One foot off the ground, foul throw.

Just got back from the game, you yourself @Izzy Muzzett are a gent and I'd put Fuchs nearly up there with you Imagine if that was 20 minutes earlier though? Kind of thing to get us going. Am I imagining Robbie Savage breaking a linesman's leg by mistake against Everton years ago at Filbo? I think he did?? And that bloody lino gave us offside every single time. Kind of reminded me of that for some reason!
sk3since03 Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 The bloke is class, almost has cult status now amongst fans! Quickly going down as one of my favourite players! Hope he's here for a long time

foxy boxing Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 no Fuchs given, that is what you get if you give him a bit of lip, he''l whack yours and make you look like a trout pout!
Chico1958 Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 Didn't get to watch the match, found out the score during a meal............ gutted Got to see the highlights just now........... Fuchs liked him before Now he's just hit god like status............ Still gutted though
ousefox Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 Can someone tell me if Fuchs did anything wrong there according to the rulebook?

the fox Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 I think for fuchs, its the same as simmo, they rarely have blunders and they don't make a lot of defensive mistakes (especially simmo). They are both solid but they can be replaced with better players but like I said before, they don't do things that gets them on the bad side of the fans. For now, I'm happy with them, but if a better player shows up, the management has to bring him in. I'm mostly worried about the RB because there isn't much cover in the squad.
