Everton post match 2-4

Poor defending, but not quite as poor as all those Shakespear puns I kept reading in the BBC text, about as funny as a dose of syphilous.

Was always on the cards with so many changes. But we have Wednesday in mind, so it's fine. We earned the right to make those changes by getting 15 points from the previous 15.

Defensively poor, but still made a decent Everton side work for a win.

Forfeited before the game began we would have struggled with a full team with Everton out fighting us all over the pitch! Hope this doesn't ruin our momentum,Season was a write off anyway! Stay up,see how far we can go in the champions league and clear out the deadwood so if we have to play reserves next season they are better than the current crop! Rant over!

I blame Wellens (he's on LCFC radio summarising today)

Did anyone find it strange how Musa was used as our long throw expert but turned out to be quite possibly the worst throw taker of all time?

We need players who can push the first team players for their places, but with the likes of king and musa, we are poor in depth.

The game was lost in midfield today, Danny worked hard, but wasn't great, but when you have king next to you, in a midfield two, you know it's going to be a bad day.

Just hope throwing this game pays off Wednesday

This game is irrelevant. Yes it would have been nice to win, but frankly you can't make that many changes to the regular side in the premier league.

The biggest game in our clubs history will be played on Wednesday. Right or wrong the owners, management, players and many fans will already have forgotten this game, bring on Madrid!!

I can see the argument for making changes. Personally, we've been let down by the premier league with a Sunday game and a Saturday game with Madrid in the middle.

But I can never see the point in changing a winning team and I think we were exposed today by making the changes we did, we badly missed Okazaki, Wilfred, Simpson and Fuchs.

However you can't legislate for basic errors in defence. At least 3 of their goals were preventable.

I thought Amartey had a good second half. Okay maybe Everton weren't trying so hard, but what he did, he did well.

Meh. Everyone said rotate the squad, doesn't matter if we lose, so we got what we asked for.

Thank you...

Really had to hold my tongue, or was it key fingers, when so many of the people complaining how crap we were, were the same ones who were adamant that we should purposely field a weakened side.

Individual mistakes cost us but if we're being honest as a team we were unacceptable all over the park.

Benny, Drinkwater, King and Albrighton really, really poor today.

No injuries tho... and a trip to Madrid in mid week. Happy days.

Still fuming we played today as well. Completely unfair.

So what was the point of making 5 changes to our first team? Clearly wasn't going to win with half a first team. Apart from achieving a narrower margin of defeat maybe.

Those who didn't want a full reserve team because it would affect momentum.. Now we've lost momentum AND knackered out half our first team. Thank fvck there were no injuries.

Is there anything he is good at?

Just when I was hoping benny had a good game before facing some quality strikers in Madrid he has a stinker. Possibly his worst in a Leicester shirt. It was almost as if he had forgotten how to man mark.

Like others have said it was always going to be hard with an unsettled side but considering today was an opportunity to stake a claim for a starting place on Wednesday it was disappointing to see nobody step up.

Fair play to Ulloa when he came on got on the end of two decent crosses & he looked our biggest threat in the air.

Should have rested everyone. We were never getting anything from this by resting Ndidi.

I suppose was would have been a bit more brutal in defending some of those set pieces, the loss could of been bigger playing a full 2nd string though which isn't great for morale also.
