Tuna Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Game was unwinnable after making so many changes to the lineup.
Webbo Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Meh. Everyone said rotate the squad, doesn't matter if we lose, so we got what we asked for.
burleighfox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 First things first, never play Drinkwater and King together from the start ever again.
FireFox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Should have rested everyone. We were never getting anything from this by resting Ndidi.
Guest the fox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 The team today: "What does defending a corner means"

Matt Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Disappointing but we move on. Thought it was a good game 1st half albeit the battle of the shakiest defence, Everton calmed themselves down, took control and it then became game over, we shouldn't have allowed to score 2 or 3 of their goals today though, but as I said we move on.
jim5000 Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Not to bad. Took the chance of ringing the changes and paid for it, but with enough players out it shouldn't affect confidence. Apart from plugging away to ensure survival, there is not much more to play for in the Premier League this season. This was almost a cup game. Bring on Madrid
sdb Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 If we could've defended set pieces we'd have got something today.
Foxxed Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 This shows Fuchs and Simmo's importance. And Shinji and Ndidi's importance in midfield. And Shakey, to his credit, rested all four. Albrighton again showed his improved form. And Slimani showed himself to be a reliable goal scorer. Drinky is proving a worry. (And I'm still worried about Amartey after all this time.) We've rested our most important for Athletico: I can't complain. Bring on Athletico.
Benguin Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 I guess we're focused on Wednesday. King had a shocker today. Gutted for Ulloa, I would have been so happy for that header to have gone in even with the loss.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Pathetic in the match thread. Biggest game ever in three days. That's the big one.

Tuna Posted 9 April 2017 Author Posted 9 April 2017 Yeah Fook off sky with your Ranieri trailer. Nobody cares.
melrose Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Not too fussed about this It's all about Madrid Well done Shakey, picked the right side Bring on Madrid
EastAnglianFox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Hate it when we lose any game so a bit miffed in all honesty.
Vacamion Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 More spirit than all of our other defeats this season.
BigWesMorgan Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Rather progress to the semi-finals of the Champions league than lose a league game against inform opposition when we're already safe
Harry - LCFC Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 No injuries other than Morgan (please be ready) and not too much tiredness. I'm not that unhappy.
AjcW Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Ooooosh Benny had a shocker! Nothing going forward from Amartey either. Oh well! We've put in the hard work already! On to Wednesday
Jonezy Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Bloody defensive corners are still an issue. When Drinkwater is poor he really is poor, but weird game where evryone could see we weren't really giving it a 100%. Heads up and bring on the spanish giants!
