Jattdogg Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 (edited) Bet no spurs fans complaining about possession football today with their big win and solid 36% possession. W@nkers! A win is a win whether you have 80% or 20%. Once they recognize that then they might realize they can win the league if they attack or park the bus. Pains me to say it but they have a great chance this year to be top 3 again or perhaps pip city /united if they stay focused (dont laugh). Whats happening in liverpool? Something in the water today? Please God... Don't let The Spuds have any chance of winning the PL title. Amen. 1
Samilktray Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 If Spurs manage to beat this City side to the league then fair play to them tbh
ScouseFox Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 there is literally no chance anyone other than man city are winning the league this year. they are unbelievable amounts better than all the other teams.

Wymsey Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 (edited) Looking forward to Liverpool v Huddersfield next weekend, with both managers close friends whilst at Mainz and Dortmund and both sides actually play attacking football.. Edited 22 October 2017 by Wymeswold fox

Ted Maul Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 I must admit, I was watching Spurs yesterday thinking 'thank god Man City are so good'. This Spurs side would be clear favourites for the title over any of the last 5 seasons- I'm hoping they don't win it, Pochettino and Kane go to big clubs, and their fans get put neatly back into their box for 50 years until they have another chance of winning it. 1

Wagner was unadventurous at West Ham a few weeks ago when they were there for the taking.

Do not underestimate ManU and Mourinho. ManCity might play a sublime football right now, I still don't feel them as solid as the Reds in the long run. ManU still stay my favourites for the title.

AjcW Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Remember when he was using Everton as a stepping stone to Barcelona Not even a little bit surprised, bloke smacks of fraud and control freak. He also can't string a coherent sentence together despite being fluent in English so no wonder the players haven't got a clue! He went after 'form signings' and half of them look like one season wonders. Only saving grace is Pickford, would have been 10+ yesterday without him. 1
AjcW Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Also an additional interesting point. Nothing in statement about Caretaker charge or anything like that. I reckon they'll have someone in by tomorrow and already have it all signed off.
Super_horns Posted 23 October 2017 Posted 23 October 2017 Everton will probably have to spend another 100 million to bring in the players they really need like a striker and commanding defender. Suspect the fans will want a high profile name but probably won't get. They certainly don't want Moyes back!

I think the team they have at the minute with Siggy at No.10, Bolasie back fit and Coleman (one of the most underrated players that's ever played in this league IMO) they're not far off... it's just the big striker left to get! 1

He’ll be Bobby fooking Moore next week of course. Keane's big-money move and handful of England caps may not have happened if he had not spent two seasons playing alongside Ben Mee. As for Koeman's sacking...I think he has been a bit unlucky in how the fixtures have fallen. FIVE out of NINE games versus "Big Six". In the other 4 matches, 7 points is not that bad. Also, they are the only team to take a point off Man City. Edited 24 October 2017 by lancyclaret
theessexfox Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Koeman reckons Giroud was very very close to signing for Everton.

spacemunky Posted 27 October 2017 Posted 27 October 2017 Kane's out for the match at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Read this morning (for all the John Stones haters on here) that he has the best pass completion rate (96.7%) of any player in Europe and that Man City have conceded just 4 goals in 9 games.
